I really love this can, and it helps that you can use both batteries or a wall plug.

I got my new replacement trash can from you bid December 2024. It worked perfectly and I was very happy. But 2. 5 weeks ago it began to work (ie opening and closing lid)randomly. So now the lid will remain open even after an hour. Or it won't open at all. It's thoroughly clean. No bumps no falls no bangs. Help me please. I love this product when it works. Also we don't have small children so no chance of anyone messing with it

I am very pleased with the sensor voice trashcan, although i never use the voice option. It's large/wide and was packed perfectly. The back of the can has a holder for the trash bags, and it came with a free bag of trash bags. It also came with a deodorizer, that nicely snaps onto the can. You can use batteries or the plug. You will not be disappointed. No fingerprints to the touch.

Love this trash can. Very handy in the kitchen. Great capacity. No smells escape. Have had one 2 years with heavy use, and it still works perfectly.

I have had this trash can for 4 years now. It had issues with closing and opening so SimpleHuman replaced it after diagnosing the issue. It was really a no hassle warranty activation. I have so much faith in SimpleHuman that I actually have purchased 2 more as gifts and I have a total of 5 soap dispenser sensors.

I am so pleased with my new sensor can! This is my second one. The sensors stopped working on my first one when it was just short of being 4 years old. I contacted Simplehuman and they replaced it with no charge to me! I can't tell you how many times I have bought a product with a 30-90 day warranty that stopped working as soon as the warranty expired. In those cases I was just out of the money I spent because the manufacturer would not replace it. It is refreshing to do business with a company that stands behind what they sell! I will definitely be buying more Simplehuman products! Thank you and keep up the good work!

This is the second SimpleHuman trash can. The first one we bought was used and we fell in love with this no touch unit. Simply tell it to open and it opens, tell it to stay open and it does, and finally tell it to close and it does. This trash can will leave your guests impressed with your garbage. More importantly, the 5 year warranty gives you peace of mind.

I love the look of the pail & how quiet it is. . . I also love how you can keep the bags inside of the can, that's awesome!! The only thing that would make it perfect, is if you can keep it open as long as you'd like. . . perhaps with a button you can press

The previous model of this trash can was discontinued - VERY disappointed, so this was my only option for this size in brushed silver. It's amazingly quiet, love the voice feature so far, especially being able to "stay open" - on previous one, the lid kept closing on my hands when I wasn't done disposing garbage. So far, the only CON is that it doesn't have a separate bin that the garbage bag attaches to that is set into the outer part of the trash can, so you can only wrap the bag around the outer part of the can which is seen from the outside (don't like) AND when needing to tap the interior to expel say coffee grinds from the basket, you're actually tapping against the metal of the trash can itself which will potentially cause dents in the can that will be seen on the exterior (not good). Also, the odor pods don't work to disguise any smells - save your $$ and don't buy them.

I feel like given the price point you'd want it to work its the way its supposed to. It opens randomly throughout the day which is distracting and frustrating, it is very regular often multiple times an hour. Sometimes the voice activation isnt working also. Really wanted to love...
