simplehuman 50 Liter / 13.0 Gallon Rectangular Kitchen Step Trash Can, Brushed Stainless Steel

I bought my first Simple Human trash can 17 years ago. Unfortunately, the lid mechanism began to fail, leaving the lid open instead of closing. Never had a problem with it until just recently. So I bought a new one and so far I am super pleased with it. Hopefully , I will get at least 17 years use out of it.

The lid opens gently without smacking into the wall and closes quietly. Easy to change bags and tuck the excess inside. Easy to lock lid in open position. Elegant, classy appearance.

Simplehuman lives up to their ratings. I have replaced another Simplehuman for another Simplehuman only because the first one was amost 20 years old showing wear. I cannot say enough for Simplehuman products and how good and convenient they are.

Awesome trash can! Worth the money. I've had it for a couple months and it still looks and functions great. Regular 13 gallon size bags fit they just take a little extra work to stretch them on the can liner.

This can is sleek looking and works wonderfully. I like the "stay open" lock. It helps when sweeping or throwing things away when cleaning out the fridge or on grocery days. Worth the cost

Fits the space I have; is clean; is second one I'm currently using--one for trash and one for recyclables.

Missing original manufacture packaging, dent on middle left side exterior, top lid out of allignement therefire not closing completley and have to pressed manualy by hand. Also missing manufacture piented lable usualy glued inside the top lid as w well ell as exterior highliting features.
