simplehuman 6 Liter / 1.6 Gallon Semi-Round Step Can, White Stainless Steel

I purchased this for the bathroom and it is a nice size and keeps all of the trash out of sight. I bought the white with stainless trim which matches nicely. The first one I was sent was dented but I quickly returned it and was refunded and got the replacement in perfect shape within a few days.

As far as garbage cans go this is a nice model. The open/close mechanism is smooth. I like the matte black color. Using in our bathroom and hoping it's large enough. I'm glad I bought the liners that fit the container because there isn't lots of plastic hanging outside of it. I have had good luck with simplehuman products!

I purchased 5 step cans this fall, in various sizes. Each of them arrived in good condition. I am very pleased with them. Also, I was surprised each has a ten year warranty. To me it says their product is made to last. Also, the step cans, whether they were round, half circle, or one which has 2 bins, one for recycling and one for trash, all are beautiful and decorative.

This is a good sized can that fits neatly against the wall and is easy to bag. It was a replacement for a broken can--a prior model--and Simply Human deserves high praise for its diligence in honoring the warranty and communicating quickly and simply--get it, simply--on the options for replacement.

I got this can for my kids' bathroom. We just got a new puppy and I needed a lidded can that she would stay out of. This can fits the bill and is so much prettier than what I had before. I am waiting for the white one to come in so I can get one for my master bath as well.

During this pandemic period in history, with the necessity of doing more sanitizing of our homes, I love having simplehuman waste cans in my bathrooms, the rooms that require more attention than ever to keep clean. Silent simplehuman lid. Foot step, toss, and the job is done. Toilet seat lids cover your toilet bowl for a good reason, so should your bathroom waste cans have a lid. Quality, functionality. I love the sort of rose gold of the lidded waste can I got for a small powder room. Lid is quiet and I hope the mechanism is as sturdy as claimed. Also happy to have a covered can for the powder room. The liners fit precisely. My one issue is that despite fitting right, there does not seem to be a way to hide the liner, even when the lid is closed. I would welcome tips or instruction. :-)

This trash can looks nice and is solid, and they're right about the custom bags not slipping out of place, which is great. The foot pedal is squishy though, and when you take your foot off the pedal, the top doesn't re-close — you have to press it back down with your hand.

The quality of the cans were nowhere near what I would expect from Simple Human brand products. The lid didn't line up with the can and just overall poor craftsmanship. I contacted Simple Human via text. I received a reply letting me know someone would respond to my issue within 1 business day. It's been 2 business days and I still haven't heard back from them.

I ordered 3 of the 6L semi-round step cans for a newly remodeled home. The cans would have been perfect except that 2 of them were dented--probably happened during shipping. They came in one box, which which would have been fine if there had been enough packing material to ensure the cans wouldn't shift and get dented. Disappointed.
