I didn't use the free one I got with my trash can, but when it actually started to smell and decided to use it and in 10mins the trashcan did not smell anything at all. that's when I knew this is something special and I went on to stack on these pods for the future.

I wish that the holders for these scent packets were included with the items. I find them easy to use, but they keep coming off (adhesive not so strong) and falling into the trash. So not only do I buy scent replacements, I also need the holders. and now I am without holders and have plenty of scent.

I would never expect to say "just okay" about anything from SimpleHuman company, but these pods don't work very well. I hate smelly trash, but this doesn't seem to help much, even after I stuck 2 to one trash can. I would love a new and revamped version.

I would advise buying directly from Simplehuman. These have no fragrance.
