Bought it around a month ago and placed it at the entryway. Looks gorgeous, solid material, easy to assemble (though it takes some time for a layman). Everybody visiting our home liked it and used it for wearing shoes. I would strongly recommend this stylish & sturdy bench.

The only hiccup was assembly. Not so easy. We could not figure out how to install one detail but without it, it still works. Assembly is definitely two-men job.

Awesome Simpli Home Arcadian Entryway Storage Bench. My husband put it together within minutes. Beautiful addition to our entryway. I added cushions to it and its solid, sturdy and beautiful.

[Employee of walmartcanada] I bought this bench about 2 weeks ago It is a great looking bench, simply design and the colour is a nice dark brown. Easy to build- it took two people about 25 minutes, all parts and pieces are included. With the exception that you will need a Phillips head screw driver. The storage is nice in the bench, however the bench that lifts to reveal storage only lifts about 70% of the way. We also bought some nice pillows as a decorative affect. The bench took a couple days longer to ship than expected as I believe it ships out of Vancouver.

Bought this approx a month ago. Looks nice, function is nice, HOWEVER, quality is poor! It has had normal use...:the odd person sits down on it occasionally to pull boots on, otherwise jackets would get set down on it. With this "normal" and really even just "gentle" use the top of the seat has paint scratching off! So now it looks horrible and I will have to paint it or something! Not impressed that it could possibly scratch and wear so easily. Bought on sale, even knowing that it might not be a piece to last forever and ever, but surely didn't expect it to be so aesthetically poor!! Now knowing that, I would NOT buy again. Like the piece, but now just see the scratches!!!!!

It has much less storage space than I expected. That's my own fault--I thought I had looked at the measurements. Also, when assembled, the middle leg is 1/4 inch too short. It doesn't meet the floor. Otherwise, all ok.

Assembly was very difficult due to missing and mismatched parts. In the box some parts were mismatched, some were missing and some just plain broke (the bolts) before being installed. My husband is a handy guy and ONLY because of his skills he was able to put this bench together. We received two left parts and the right one was missing, therefore he had to modify the part with a jigsaw to make it fit - luckily it is a part that is inside and not visible. One of the wooden parts had a knot and it was in the corner and pre-drilled right through it - the entire corner just fell off. 4 of the bolts broke into pieces. If it wasn't for my husband skills, and LOTS of carpenter's glue we would not be able to assemble the bench together from all that was provided in the box. The bench now that is assembled looks OK, but as far as quality of material goes I would say it is quite poor.

I am an electrician and basically screw thing together every day, the hardware supplied was very poor. I had to substitute the screws with better quality ones. The end product was great!

It's been only 2 weeks since we have assembled it. It's very small like kids bench . After couple weeks paint is starting to chip off already and wood is getting bad underneath.
