[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice piece. Assembly was simple as directions were very clear. A bag containing extra screws was also supplied in case I lost one. Thank for that. Wish all companies would do that. Quality of bench seems to be very good. Price was fair. I would recommend.

I wish it had come assemble, but it was easy to put together.

Great bench at a great price

Bench is the perfect fit for our mudroom. Great quality product. Very well made & so simple to put together. This is the third piece of simpli home furniture we have purchased & will continue to be a loyal customer.

A bit smaller than I had thought. Very nice looking. Assembly directions were unclear at times. Came with everything and a nice extra parts bags.

This is a very nice looking piece. The only thing is that the instructions are not really clear and is a bit of a challenge for a novice assembler.

I spent extra money on this bench as the pervious reviews stated it arrived in perfect condition. When we got it, the back had scratches, indents and marks from being on top of the hinges during shipping. The company has offered to send a new back but it will take 12 weeks. :( - The bench also does not close all the way on one side. I think it may be the screws, I haven't had time to take it apart again to try to fix it.

The bench seems like great quality and easy to put together. The back part came cracked as the assembler tightened a screw too much and now it is stripped AND cracked. It's not a small job to pack this up, bring it to a UPS store and return it! Online items can't be returned at the Walmart store. My husband is trying to fix it but for $242 we should not have to make repairs to a brand new bench. So frustrating and time consuming.
