First reason I bought it was for it's beautiful simplicity. Second reason, was that it was small enough to fit in our tight front entry. Third, it also has storage space under the lid. We used to just walk through our front entry, but it's interesting how many family members now pause and sit down. It's a very nice bench.

Love bench very cute and functional. No space underneath for shoe storage, but lots of storage inside. The slow close feature is t working for us, think part is broken but will call manufacture to replace.
