Simpli Home Warm Shaker 44 inch Wide Solid Wood Entryway Storage Bench in White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits perfect in the space we had. Looks great and is sturdy. Assembly instructions are also well written.

We needed an entryway shoe storage bench and we found this. Fits in nicely. We have oak flooring so the color is a good fit. Solidly made. Ships disassembled. The instructions are 90% correct (in one section, they had the part reversed, but I was able to figure it out).

I am impressed with the quality of the Simpli Home Shaker Entry Storage Bench. It is well made and fits perfectly in my foyer space. The storage cabinets are the the perfect size for gloves, hats and scarves.

This bench is just what we wanted. It is our third piece of furniture from this line and I am continually impressed with how well constructed the furniture is. This time, my 8rd old helped build it. So, I'd say construction is relatively easy. I was also impressed that there were shelves you could choose to put inside the bench. I hadn't noticed that in the description and it was a nice surprise to have the option. Absolutely worth the money.

The assembly instructions were almost useless and the doors were simply not the correct part. Fortunately, leaving the doors off worked for us. My wife and I agree that this was the worst assembly experience ever.

I love the look of the bench, now that it is in. I ordered it on 8/15 and finally had all the pieces on 9/5. We opened the box and a piece packed in the middle was cracked in half. It was the right leg that holds it together. I requested a replacement piece instantly and had to wait almost 2 weeks for the part to arrive. So we had a giant box sitting in our home. The bench was easy enough to put together,but the middle stability boards would not go in 100%. I could not get the shelf holders in and had to use a rubber mallet the holes were just too small. I was so excited about the bench but it was very disappointing and frustrating with customer service

I would have rather instructions from ikea than these. The steps weren't even correct near the end! Product easily dents (and included dents) and it was poorly glued at one end, so  I had to do it myself with some wood glue. End the end, the product looks great because it  matches my furniture, but I would not use it as a bench where it would get lots of wear and tear.

I would give this no stars if I could! The product came with scratches, dings, different white paint to try to cover up blemishes. Seller never got back to me so I returned it!

I would not buy this if you are not good at assembly. The directions are horrible, and not in order. If it wasn't such a pain to repack and return the item...it would definitely go back. Come on people. The least you could do is give good instructions. I actually like the look of this, but it took me two days to get it together. I had to set it aside after three hours, and pick it up the next day because it was horribly frustrating to get parts put together, only to find out that that instruction was out of order. I am here to tell you that everything needs assembly. Even putting the hinges on the doors. Not worth it... Would NOT recommend.
