[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife really enjoys doing a lot of hands-on activities and crafts. She remembers doing needlepoint from her childhood. This is a great craft because it's small and easy enough to do with our six-year-old. Our six-year-old really enjoyed sorting through the different colors of yarn and learning how to thread the yarn through the needle. Our son is very excited to see how this craft is going to turn out. Needlepoint crafts are enjoyable because they're easy to store in your bag and take with you. If you are waiting at the doctors office or you want to go to the park you can just take it out and you can literally do it in the middle of the park or while waiting in the doctors office. It's a non-messy craft that is a lot of fun and very satisfying. We are really excited about this craft and we can't wait to see the end result

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a project for my 12 year old daughter and I to do together, we had a fun time creating the picture and figuring it out. I'll admit we got confused a couple of times but we pulled it together (haha). We were pure beginners! Never done one of these before and I was happy with the outcome. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, probably even easier if you know what you are doing. Everything we needed was included and high quality threads were appreciated. This design I think is great for beginners as there isn't too much going on. We can't wait to do more, as it was something we truly enjoying trying out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I really love that this kit comes with everything I need. The picture is perfectly neutral colors, and not too complex. I love how many other options there are as well. I would recommend.

It is cute and simple for a first timer. Not a lot to embroider and easily done in a day. I wet the threads and used the tape to hold them steady while I cut them for the hanging thing. I also added a knot to make it look like it was hanging on a nail and then used glue to secure it. The cat, floor and pot are solid and not embroidered (the pot has some embroidery accent).

Very cute and simple, I'm a beginner and was able to do it in an evening. However, it was easier when I looked up the stitches on YouTube. My main complaint was that the needle this came with still had bits of metal in the eye, and was unusable, and the dowel for the hanging threads snapped very easily as soon as I tried to loop threads on it. Also, I don't know if I was reading or doing it wrong, but on the colors that said I should do six strands, I realized partway through I wouldn't have enough thread for them so I switched to three strands and just barely had enough.
