Soft and you get a lot for the money
We did not use this for putting on fabric, we used it in a science experiment about textures where the students had to guess what it was (we used the feather boa, sandpaper, a squishy, sequins, etc). We put this in a tissue box and they had to put their hand in and feel what it was and then guess by using adjectives to describe it.

Okay but not fluffy %26 full
Not a full and fluffy boa trim but I should've guessed that from the packaging and the price. It will be OK because I can double it over.

boa trim
While it is what I needed to finish the Halloween costume I am making, it most certainly could be much thicker, or fuller. It would look a lot better if the fluff on it was longer

Disappointing
This was not even close to boa feathers and resembled cheaply made cotton balls which come in OTC medicine bottles. Very disappointing and do not recommend.
