Simplify Large Fabric Storage Box in Heather Grey

This has a nice lid that goes over the box. The box is sturdy and thick and not heavy. It is what i am looking for. I need to store papers but protect them too. i can place it on a shelf. It helps me organuze alot of papers, but it is also roomy. I have extra room for more papers.

I got these for under my bed, which is high, and they work great. They're good and sturdy, and hold a lot, plus they're easy to slide on the floor to pull them out. They're not badly made and they look nice too. Worth the money.

The description says this has reinforced sides for stacking. The package says you can store books and magazines in it. And stack them. Not true, in spite of the descriptions and the photo showing magazines and such inside. This is fairly floppy and flimsy, much too flimsy for anything like magazines, and you certainly couldn't stack these with anything substantial in them. It's not nearly as sturdy as other reinforced fabric folding storage boxes--there doesn't seem to be cardboard in the sizes (there's a little something in the sizes--maybe just thicker fabric!?, but not much at all), and the insert for the bottom is extremely thin and bends. I got this because of the size--I needed something relatively short, and most of these folding boxes are too tall (most are cubes--same HxWxL), and I wanted a flip top (or zip top), not a removable top. The flip top is a joke, too--its just a flap of fabric, and the "sides" of the lid have no structure whatsoever, so it doesn't really close like a lid. This might be OK for storing a few clothes under the bed, but nothing heavier. I needed this for something heavier, even though I don't intend to stack them or even lift one, but I'm concerned about even sliding it on the floor with my contents in it. I bought 2 because I thought this might be a good option at $11, but I'm going to return one of them. If I could find something else in the right size, I'd return both.
