Simply Magic Magnetic Base Ten Blocks for Math, 131+4-Piece Math Manipulative Set

This is a very handy set for teaching math to young children. It makes math much more real and helps with understanding. We have been using this set for basic addition and subtraction. Seeing things in the ones, tens and hundreds columns has helped tremendously. The colors are vibrant. The material is a light weight foam. I ordered a magnetic whiteboard to use these on in the school room but it hasn’t arrived yet so in the meantime we are using the refrigerator. You get plenty of each type of blocks and one of the one thousand “cubes”. I do recommend this for extra hands on assistance with teaching math. Very handy. I did keep the box to store all of the pieces in as it is sturdy and the lid closes nicely.

If you have a young child struggling with Math and you are feeling frustrated, try the SimplyMagic Tens Block set! I was given the opportunity to choose this product to review and was excited to see it. The set arrived fast and in perfect condition as far as shipping goes. It was also well packaged. I picked this set because I have grandchildren that are absorbed in learning tools and games that make school easier for them. This set is very well made and is sturdy for the intended purpose. I was able to stick this to the front of our refrigerator just fine with the magnetic back but if you want to, you can also just work on a flat surface such as a table, just fine. The little placement labels are pretty fun and match the set nicely. This has a thin layer of magnetic backing so I love the fact that this is very versatile in different learning situations. These are made of coated foam board. The colors are really bright and they easily snap apart from the original packaging. They are super lightweight to carry along and practice skills with your child just about anywhere. You get a QR code to scan with game and idea perks in the box that I received, I however did not download it for a test because I am sending this set to my Granddaughter for future review. I will have to comment on that later. The box is pretty nice for carrying everything after it has been broken apart but I would like to see them add a handle to the box maybe. It would be easier to carry around if your backpack is full. As far as my overall feelings and thoughts go this is a great set. I would love to see the brand introduce expansion sets so that you can have more number options with the "thousand blocks" instead of just having one. Other than that I really think this set is great overall and meets or exceeds my expectations.

Soft, cute, brightly colored, relatively strong magnets. These will be perfect in my classroom to teach and also to allow the students to explore with. The way the singles come sort of hooked together is also a bonus to show how they are similar to one 'tens stick'. The thousands 3D looking cube is super cool too. I will be using these for sure!

These are great number blocks to count and do math with for young kids. The magnet is strong and they’re fairly easy to move on the board. Nice bright colors too!

nice learning tool, like that its magnetic to use with dry erase board. my kid is struggling with math so i hope these will help.

Too many little pieces, without actually having a magnet board these are useless and messy.

Its a great learning tool to help kids and extra math tool.
