They're lightly seasoned so you can season it yourself. I prefer to spice them up with some red pepper flakes. I made the most delicious potato pancakes.

I regularly keep the shredded potatoes in my house. In one instance I froze a package. When it came time to use them, I left them to thaw in the refrigerator.They were more watery than expected. I fried them nicely in a wrought iron pan and there was no loss to taste. Will buy again.

these are really perfect for a lazy Sunday morning and for potato pancakes which can be a lot of work and a mess but these really make it easy and streamline the process one of my favorite things to do is to toss them in a little butter with some fresh chives and put them into a muffin tin bake them off and then fill them with all kinds of fun stuff try it I think you like it

This product is much fresher and has less brown Pieces then Ore-Ida brand however, this 20 ounce package does not completely fill a 9 x 13 pan as high as I would like it to and so I usually end up buying Ore-Ida and throwing away the brown pieces and adding in a fresh potato.

I wanted the convenience of not needed to peel and shred potatoes for a recipe that required shredded potatoes. When I opened the package, the potatoes were mushy and watery. However, they were fine in the recipe but I doubt I'd use them again. I would not use them for hash browns.

I love simply potatoes mashed potatoes, and while I really that these hash browns are fresh, and not frozen, they never seem to cook through. I've used them a few times, when making hash brown casserole around the holidays, and no matter how long I bake my casserole, these potatoes are still much too firm. It's baffling.

I was worried when I opened this, because it smells really weird. Almost like dirty gym socks...... I decided to try it anyways, to see if cooking helped, and while I didn't get sick, and it tasted okay, the texture wasn't good and it still had a weird slimy quality. Don't recommend these.

This item used to be labeled as non-gmo. I saw the non-gmo certified label was missing so I read the back of the package and sure enough, it says it contained bioengineered ingredients. GROSS! I'm stuck with these now but I will never buy these again! GMO foods are NOT safe and cause gut issues as well as other health issues. It's no coincidence everyone seems to have digestion and gut problems now! It's the so called food.
