Simply Shabby Chic Reversible Ditsy Floral 3-Piece Quilt Set, Full/Queen

I recently received the ‘Simply Shabby Chic Cherry Blossom 3-Piece Quilt Set, Full/Queen’ for review purposes. I normally do not use quilts, they look old fashioned, but this quilt is super soft and feels well made. I especially like the stripes on the reverse side and how the quilt is sewn all the way through, instead of random spots like a comforter. I have had to fix too many RL comforters because the filling on the inside slips/tears from the pintucked spot sew and bunches on one side or the other. I do not see this happening with the Simply Shabby Chic Cherry Blossom Quilt Set. Overall, I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for a well-made and soft bedspread, this specific quilt is very feminine and would make a wonderful addition to someone’s spring bedroom décor.

I was out of town when the box arrived and was surprised at what I saw upon my return. I hope this really wasn't the way it was shipped. As hopefully seen by the photos, this set is quite beautiful. The quilt is a little on the heavy side which makes it perfect for cool fall evenings. It covers my queen size bed amply. The fabric is soft without that flimsy feel. This set really looks quite beautiful on my bed and I'm very glad to have it.

I really like this quilt set. It is pretty, but also washable and durable. It came out of the wash wrinkle free and just as good as new. It is on the thinner side, but it is surprisingly warm. I’d probably add a blanked under it for the colder months.

I received the Simply Shabby Chic White Rose 3-Piece Quilt Set in Full/Queen size a few weeks ago and I love it! First of all, the fabric is so soft! The quilted flower design and scalloped edges of the quilt and pillow shams are a beautiful touch! The quilt set appears to be very well made with pretty scalloped edges. The quilt is lightly quilted which is great for the warm months of summer, or for the cooler months with an additional blanket underneath. The pillow shams have a fold over opening in the back so that the pillow stays in the sham without falling out of the end. They are also roomy enough for a large pillow which is a nice feature. The quilt is an ample size and hangs well over the sides of my queen sized bed even though I have a thick mattress. Although the quilted design appears to be stitched, it is like pressed dots to make the design, but still looks very pretty. I think this quilt set is very versatile and goes with a lot of decor styles from country cottage to farmhouse and more! I recommend this Shabby chic quilt set to anyone who loves soft pretty bedding and I look forward to having this set on my bed year round!

I grew up in a home where quilts were used as everyday bedding. I remember them being used mainly in cold weather months because of how thick and heavy they were. I was pleasantly surprised with this set because it is not heavy at all. I am at a age where I swear at night under normal bedding. The quilt is light-weight, soft and well made. I usually have the ceiling fan on and will throw the covers off of me from getting so warm. That is not the case with this quilt set. I sleep comfortable through the night and I find that I’m no longer pushing the covers off me in the middle of the night. It is light enough that I’m not burning up and heavy enough that I’m not chilly or cold. The material is very soft and not scratchy. It’s made of 100% polyester. Polyester has changed from my memory of polyester as a child. My only issue with the set (a preference) is the color. I allow my small Maltipoo to sleep on the bed with me. Unlike myself, she doesn’t get a shower or bath daily. So I have to ensure I place a blanket or a towel on the bed where she sleeps. So to see this in darker colors or even earth tone colors would be a plus. I have a queen size bed and the queen fits my bed the way I prefer. Many people love lots of overhang, I desire for my bed frame to be seen. The queen size allows just enough overhang that I’m not pulling the covers while sleeping. The shams fit my standard pillows perfectly. I am completely satisfied with this set.

This 3 pc set is very pretty and lightweight. The rose pattern is sewn or more accurately"punched" into the material. As such it does create very clear parts in the material so you may want to use white sheets underneath, other colors will show through. The comforter is suitable for warmer temperatures as it is also not plushly padded. I like the scalloped edging, it gives it a very nice finished edge.

Very pretty spring like color. Dainty little flowers…I would say this quilt is medium weight and still looks pretty for a bedspread. I bought a twin size to use as a throw blanket in my guest room. I would recommend this quilt.

So I'm guessing the idea of this is just for decoration, if so then it'll work fine. The material is a little stiff, but the texture of fabric has a soft feel. The pattern reminds me a little of toilet paper, you know how tp designs are made with little dots, yeah that's the same as this. It would be fine as a decorative cover, but for me because of the edging is a curved design I feel like pairing it with a straight flat sheet may look a little weird *you can see the curved edges at top of pillow in picture I attached.

it's not very soft, it just feels a bit like a synthetic bedspread that my mom used in the 1970s. the pillow cases it came with feel softer which is odd. it's not terrible, I just expected better from SSC as I've bought plenty of Rachel Ashwell's goods in the past and the fabrics felt much nicer. i think the floral print looks odd too, not soft and not of typical SSC design.

Was thrilled to see the Simply Shabby Chic line arrive at Walmart! Received my quilt set today and was excited to see that the colors and patterns were simply beautiful and as expected. Unfortunately the quality is just not there. Quilt was extremely thin and the edging around the pillow shams was not even turned back and finished it was simply cut. So disappointed. Certainly not the quality of other Rachel Ashwell items that I have. Will not be trying any other items from the line from here.
