10 year old love Sims3, has about 6 games so far. Does get expensive but she understands 1 addition every couple months (maybe) It does improve their mind and not violent.
I love this game! I like that it comes with a bowling alley, a washer/dryer, a coffee shop, and other community features. I have added new community lots to my Sunset Valley and Bridgeport from University Life.
This game is so much fun! If you are a fan of any of the Sims games or play Sims 3 already, you need this extension pack to add on! It adds a college to the game and your Sim can begin to earn degrees to help toward getting a job, as well as the game adds new furniture, clothing items, etc. You will not be disappointed!
it took to long to get to the store for me to pick it up.
Great game
product came in as promised.. no damage and great game for most ages. will continue to buy sims games
I thought that this game was going to have a lot more details to it and it didn't. I did however enjoy the added features to the game such as the new jobs, clothes, hairstyles.
If you already love the Sims, then you will like it! I was not a fan of the University game for Sims 2, but decided to try this one out. It is good. Still not the biggest fan of University, but fun to play, anyways!
I was really let down by this game. For this die hard sim fans, this to me isn't like sims 2 University. I loved the outfits, and the added jobs, but I felt as if it wasn't nearly as good as the old version of this game. I will admit it does let you do more with your sims social like blog and stuff but really that's about it. I felt there could have been more majors added or even jobs. Overall, its not bad, bu its not great. It just wasn't what I was expecting.
The university world is SO buggy. There is a major path-finding issues getting to classes. Only one can go in the door at a time, creating an enormous "traffic jam". I've missed entire classes due to this bug, others have had this problem as well. Getting around campus in general is just weird, your Sim will walk on the sidewalk in complete circles to get to a class at times. Overtime, your performance will dip. If you don't study/learn skills during multiple intervals during the day, you will have a hard time. Classes drain fun like mad, you can loose half of the fun bar in one two-hour class! That's when your Sim works hard but you will need to work hard due to make up for the steady dip of the performance bar. The parties were a big feature when advertised. You will have to keep your fun up, study often everyday, sleep 10 hours, go to 2-6 hours worth of classes. You got that? When is there ANY time to party? After graduation I worked with these parties and I had quite a bit of fun with them. I liked the parties this expansion pack had, a nice addition. I really liked all of the new clothes, hair and item to buy. Those bunk beds are AWESOME, the new plants are really cool as well. I liked the social groups addition, the new jobs are certainly a plus. The photography skill was an alright addition, it's fun but isn't very profitable until you get a really high level. Social networking was a great addition. Blogging isn't very profitable compared to most professions but it only takes a few minutes to get started and start posting. It's a work-at-home skill, I enjoyed it. Overall, it's not bad but if you could buy a different expansion pack; save your money. If you were to ask me if I could get my money back, I'd say no. I got a fair amount of enjoyment out of it but I'd recommend other packs over this one.
