I am very impressed with this SIMZLIFE 8,000 BTU portable air conditioner. It is the perfect size for my room and does not take up too much space. Installation was easy because it came with all the necessary parts and clear picture instructions, making setup simple for my sliding window. The controls are user-friendly, and the phone app is very convenient when I do not want to use the remote. I do wish the exhaust hose and power cord were a little longer for me, but overall this unit is a great value for the money and I would definitely recommend it.
This is a strong AC that pumps out chilled air and cools down a room very quickly. It comes with everything you need to vent outside so you can install fast without having to do any major heavy installation. You can take it completely down in a matter of minutes to relocate or store for winter or to move out. It's perfect for a dorm or apartment, especially if you are above the ground floor or where you aren't permitted to install a window unit. Runs reasonably quiet that is no louder than white noise so it's easy to sleep with. Has a dehumidifier, time and remove. Very happy with this purchase for my bedroom.
This this is incredible it cooled not only my bedroom but just about my entire 1200 square Residence once it started traveling throughout my house in less than 30 minutes it dropped my bedroom almost 10% degrees and was still in the process of cooling the whole house U have to have it venting and dispersing the hot air that is being blowed out the back if not directed outside some how it will make the room in which u are using the machine super hot which makes the machine work harder then in which it produces condensation water runny off underneath a lot faster I re major accident Down the pre-existing house been AC system. Ventilation system adequately worked, but it did make the machine produce a lot more water than it had to be emptied in about 15 to 30 minutes, but it is amazing little machine as well worse the money need to have added to your house Home definitely a must have
My ac unit is old and broke twice last summer. It still works, but I wanted something to help keep the house cool this summer because I don't want to be without one or have to spend more on one because it's a last minute. This one was on a lightening sale, so im super happy with the price compared to others that are almost the same. I ordered two for my room and the living room. The setup is easy, and they work GREAT!! I have one in my bedroom. And one in my living room. They are quiet and keep the room very cool.
I got this of course for portability and that it is. I would say quality of this item is average. It's good as a backup, or for apartments or small rooms. The only obvious quality issue was the plug which looks almost toy like. It blows cold air and goes down to 61 degrees as most air conditioners I've used go down to 62. You have to use a drain hose for condensation. The auto fan feature works as intended. This would be great in a bedroom or studio apartment. The app is what you'd expect for an off brand air conditioner. It works though and is an option if you don't want to use the remote or lose it. The remote is large with large numbers and is easy to use. Packaging was great for a cross country trip it looked untouched. The plastic looks a bit cheap but under the hood it a standard air conditioning unit. I'd recommend to get the cheapest that you can get with the featuyyou want. This one is average for its price with wifi being a nice feature.
AC was shipped quickly. Smooth transaction. Works great with a small studio apartment or other area.
I got this unit for my sons basement bedroom. Its really nice and I think he will get lots of use out of it. Hopefully it will keep his room cool throughout the summer. The remote control is an added plus as well. This would be great for use in a Studio Apartment or other small space where one needed some Air Conditioning. I cant speak for how it runs over the long haul as I just got it, but right out of the box it appears to be a nice unit. I would recommend it to anyone.
Was very impressed and pleasantly surprised. Besides the shipping being a day late due to a label unreadable issue, the unit itself works great, it's small and portable and has good connection pieces for the window exhaust vent. Unit blows cold and was easy to set up. Liked how it can hook up to WiFi and doesn't need to constantly drain in cool mode. Great price, great little unit, the main A/C at our house is going out so it's nice to have this as a backup while the main gets repaired. And to have just in case I need it in the future as well. Very happy with my purchase, thanks!
I've only been using it a short while, but so far it has met or exceeded my expectations. I'm using it in my bedroom and it is much quieter than I expected. paired to the portable room air conditioner that I replaced. I have no trouble hearing either my TV or falling asleep
I regret buying this weak beast of a machine. I live in a small home and even with a fan running, and the unit being on all day, it doesn't cool the space. But it's 8k btu? Really? You have to either pipe the drain line outside, which would be hard given the vent kit OR set numerous timers to remind yourself to dump the water in the container throughout the day. If you don't do either, you will have puddles of water all over the floor. The vent pipe and the unit itself radiate A LOT of heat which I get but very counterproductive when you're trying to cool your space.
