Living in Florida, an ice maker is essential to beat the heat - we use it every day. 35 lbs sounds like a lot until you have a house full of drinks going all day long since we work from home. It's simple to set up and the self-cleaning function is a great feature. The basket holds a decent amount and it stops when it's full so it doesn't overflow. The stainless steel matches our refrigerator and it looks great. We love nugget ice compared to the cubes, and this gets the job done perfectly!

this is a great ice maker, it makes the nugget ice (sonic ice) its so easy to chew which due to my iron deficiency i tend to eat ALOT of ice so being easy to chew is a huge plus... its compact in size,makes ice fairly fast and has low noise compared to my old bullet ice maker.

I love this ice maker.. it makes ice really fast. As long as you keep it filled with water and keep the ice from piling up to the sensor it will just constantly make ice. The first little bit of ice will melt but if you keep it running it will pile up quick and stay frozen. It came in handy recently when i had a sore throat.. perfect little ice chips. Its compact and takes up very little counter space. Its very simple to use, just fill it up to the line with water and it has 1 button control. It even came with a little ice scoop. It does need to sit upright for 24 hrs before operation.

Love the Nugget Ice! I'm really happy with this Nugget Ice Maker! It makes the perfect little nuggets of soft, chewable ice that are great for sodas, iced coffee, water, and other cold drinks. It's easy to operate, and I love being able to make fresh ice at home instead of buying bags of it. The machine fits nicely on the counter without being overly bulky, and the ice is ready surprisingly quickly. The nugget texture is definitely my favorite part—it makes even a simple glass of water feel like a treat. A fun and useful addition to the kitchen!

I have been wanting a nugget ice maker for a while now, and I'm so glad I ordered this one. I eat ice and the larger cubes from our refrigerator or from store bagged ice are too large for that, so the nugget ice is perfect for me. It will keep me from using the loud crushed ice feature on our refrigerator so much. The only downside came from shipping. The box had a hole in it and was badly beat up but the ice maker itself was ok. It needs to be shipping led inside a shipping box instead of just slapping a label on the ice maker box. Our family loves the smaller ice so I'm sure this ice maker will get a lot of use. It is smaller than I expected because I did not look at the specs when ordering, but that is a plus for us since it will easily fit in our RV when we go places. I like that a small scoop is included also. Everyone that likes ice should have a nugget ice maker.

The ice maker is simple to set up and instructions were clear. No water.li e required, just add.watwr in the top. It is compact and made to sit on countertop.
