Sincerely Nuts Turkish Dried Apricots, 32 oz

I bought these to cook with but I am having trouble because I keep eating --- just one more! Soft and tasty! They are smaller than many other brands, but more flavorful and quite fresh!

A disappointment after reading positive reviews - these dried apricots were rather leathery, tough to chew, and the dominant taste was sort of like sweetened plastic instead of the expected fruit, as if they had absorbed industrial chemicals from the plastic bag. Steaming them for several minutes restored softness and most of the expected apricot taste, so maybe these particular bags were just a bad or old batch, but I don't think I'll buy them again.

These apricots are varied in size; not sweet; different colors; and varied in textures. They are not suited for entertaining. The quality is poor. I separated them by size, and poached the smaller apricots.

Most of them were so dried out they were uneatable. They were very very small as well not like other dried fruit I have purchased in the past.

Some of the apricots are dark brown, it doesn't taste fresh at all. This happened to me before and I remembered that I had sent it back.
