Item looks better when finished than the picture's show. Assembly is involved with many small fastener's %26 pieces. Follow the directions, lay out all the pieces, %26 buy wood glue. I didn't like the supplied glue %26 used Gorilla glue. I assembled the top %26 bottom separately %26 let them dry. The bottom was the starting point for me. The top I put it on as the last piece. Also give the glue time to dry between the assembly steps. It's not that heavy to move around when finished.

I bought 2 of these shelves for my daughter's college condo. She has a spare room that she has turned into her study/office/library. Needs to be fully assembled. Took me about 2 hours per shelf. They are fantastic. Looks like the expensive shelves on other websites. Worth the money. Very sturdy. Very pleased with the look. Highly recommend.

It took me a bit over an hour to assemble, and I don't think you really need two people to do it. Overall, it looks and feels great. The "wood" stickers that cover some of the screws don't stick very firmly, but I don't think it will look that bad once they fall, and they will. I have not attached it to the wall, but I got all my board games in there and it feels pretty sturdy. The plank that goes in the back is a rather flimsy piece of something (not sure if it is wood, but it has a wooden cover that makes it look nice enough. I think those kinds of sheets are pretty standard among "cheap" furniture. It is not a deal breaker at all, in my opinion. All that being said, I really like this bookshelf and I do recommend buying it if you are ok with the above caveats.

when gluing connecting dowels or pegs push them completely in first side. instructions say half way...all the way is half way. :)

This cabinet is gorgeous!! I'm using it in my kitchen for my rooster collection and it's the perfect size to sit between my windows. It came with extra shelves and I appreciate that😊. Only complaint I have is with the directions that were provided.

I absolutely love this bookshelf. It was exactly what I wanted for my office. It fits all my books. I would just recommend placing more books at the bottom if you plan to not anchor it to your wall just so that it feels a bit sturdier.

Cute little bookcase but don't expect it to be high end furniture! It took a while to assemble. Make sure to follow instructions very carefully! The outer "wood" material (which is really like a printed vinyl paper) is very thin and you have to be really careful of not letting the dowels poke through the material. I made the mistake of glueing the dowels and letting them dry before assembling the rest, and what happened was that one of the dowels was not set deep enough in the one piece, and when assembling the connecting piece, the dowel broke through the outer surface of the connecting piece. The material is so thin that is was hard to fix without being noticeable. I like it because it fit the small space I had available for it, and it looks cute enough. I wish it was taller (then you wouldn't see the seam at the top of the arch so much), and that the bottom shelf went all the way to the floor so you could maximize the storage space.

For the price it's OK. Putting it together took about 3 hours but that was expected and it wasn't that hard....however after putting it together I saw that some of the parts wound up making holes in the other side after I tightened them. One of the holes is quite noticeable in the right hand side which I covered with one of the sticky dots used for covering screw holes. I still like it and since it was inexpensive I didn't expect better. I also couldn't find anything with the dome top that I liked better.

Item is extremely cheap quality. More so than I expected given the original price. Weird stickers to cover screw holes/ missing parts/ not all sides are flush/ and the sides are so fragile they easily crack and show damage. I should have double checked parts-there were 2 of one part which hindered proper completion. I had pegs poke through the fiber board and crack the sides. I regret this purchase. I was too far into putting it together to try a return. Too bad, the style is so cute but it’s so cheap and difficult to put together properly. IKEA is a better choice for the price. I’ve never had so much trouble putting a piece of furniture together.
