My old sewing machine (over 50 years old) broke and I could not find a repair shop. I went online and the WalMart website was easy to navigate. The price was fair and when I started to read the directions, I was able to operate it easily. Singer sewing machines have been in my family for generations, so I know they are high quality.
I purchased this machine to replace previous one which would have cost more to fix then the cost of this machine. I don't sew as much as before, but needed a machine to make the drapes for spare bedroom
I was excited when I saw this special edition Singer. I sold a much older Singer when I moved. Mostly I need it for hemming and repairs. For the cost I could have my own machine again instead of paying such a high price for it to be done. Everything is much easier to use. I'm very happy with it.
As retirement quickly approaches I bought this sewing machine to test the water as I try to find a hobby that will keep me occupied in retirement. I'm pretty impressed with my test results based on this machine coupled with the website and youtube tutorials of Nikki-PinCutSewStudio.com I am off an running and fairly obsessed with sewing projects which are coming out of my ears just 2 months after purchasing my Singer Simple 3337 Red Sewing Machine! I'm finding that issues that frustrated me when I sewed 40 years ago can be easily remedied by going back and following the instructions!
Singer is a long-time reputable manufacturer of sewing machines. This machine was given as a gift as a learning machine to a person who is happy and excited to create items. This machine will last decades as my Singer machines have and still are. The illustrations on the machine for stitches and how to thread the machine are a great tool no matter how experienced the user.
This sewing machine is super easy to use and a great fit for beginners. It has simple controls with clear buttons, so you can quickly learn the basics of sewing. You'll find different stitch options, like straight and zigzag stitches, which lets you try out different styles. Plus, it's lightweight and portable, so you can easily take it anywhere.
Love This Walmart‑Exclusive Pink Sewing Machine! I'm so happy with this sewing machine! The pink color is super cute and exclusive to Walmart, which makes it feel extra special. It looks even better in person — very aesthetic and perfect for my workspace. Delivery was no hassle at all. I didn't wait long, everything arrived on time, and the packaging was secure. The machine works smoothly, easy to set up, and perfect for both beginners and quick projects. If you want a sewing machine that's functional and pretty, this one is definitely worth it. 💗
I used my Great grandmother's 1880's Singer treadle sewing machine and all its many attachments for 70 years last year when I had to sell my larger home, to move into a much smaller home. Until recently, I didn't need a new machine, and started looking into what was affordable, and available. Walmart offered different types, but when I found Singer brand, I looked into ratings, then price I could afford. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Of course it was new fangeled to me, so I paid close attention to the directions sent with it. It took a little time, and soon I was ready to start stitching. A week or two later I received an offer from Singer to purchase a really nice case at a good price. One review said my new machine wouldn't fit, but it fits perfectly.
It is not really pink more of a pinkish beige. I'm not in love with the color they make a pink iron. That is the perfect pink . I bought one and even wrote to them telling them they need to make a machine that exact pink it's not bright Gerrish it is soft and beautiful very vintage looking not beige, pink just beautiful anyway I have had a lot of trouble with the button hole tried everything possible to get it to give me a nice button hole. For that reason I will be returning it and probably buy a different machine! Another thing the machine came with a automatic Threader, but it wouldn't go through the needle that came with the machine so I'd took that one out and put in a 90 and it works great because that was a big thing for me so if people have a problem with it change the needle to a 90 and it'll work great. I have two other machines of this same design and the buttonholes work great on there on them so there might be some thing I bought those about two years ago so maybe they were made by a different supplier I don't know but this one just doesn't want to work so I'm gonna try one more time.
The "self threader" is nearly impossible to use. It is confusing and directions are negligible. Fat fingers can't use it. My husband finally figured it out, for him. He is still trying to do it easily after a dozen tries over several months. But he needs to thread the machine for me. This machine is designed for very young users but not for us seniors. Other than that, it is a good machine, once one gets it treaded! The stiches are well handled. I really appreciate the top loading bobbin. After using it off and on for a few months, I do like it, except for the threading mechanism.
