SINGER® 4432 Heavy Duty Mechanical Sewing Machine

I recommend this machine! Strong (think denim), plenty of features. Self-buttonholer works perfectly. This is my second Singer. While my older one works fine, I just needed something more capable for tge heavier fabrics.

This machine sews through mid weight denim with ease! My other old machine broke trying to sew through it. I should have just bought this one first. Also the stitching around rounded corners is easier to sew and looks better on this. People tried to upsell me and im glad I didn't listen and this one did the job and got the machine at huge sale price too.

Machine is built solid. Light is nice and bright - not sure why some complain it is dark. Very easy to use. Quiet and powerful motor. Easy to use foot pedal. Great videos and tips follow purchase. So many stitch applications - still going through them. Comes with dust cover. Upgraded from a basic sewing machine - Should have just spent the extra money for a quality machine. Basic machine died in less than a year.

With the virus, and so many places requiring facial masks, I felt I had to do my share of playing in forward in making the masks and head wraps for this community. I needed to purchase a sewing machine, and always owned Singer. I am so please and the most fantastic thing about this machine is the needle threader. Even in my teenager years threading a machine was difficult, and not many years later, I dreaded having to conquer the needle threader. When I purchased the machine, I did not know of this terrific detail, and when I read the instructions on threading the machine and came to this feature, I yelled for joy. The machine sews perfectly, and I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend to anyone looking for a new machine. Plus I thought the price was reasonable.

Had it now for 2 weeks and all is well. The first one lasted about 3 years sewing embroidery patches on leather vest and jackets and on denim clothing. Only thing that could be better; I wish the foot would lift higher for thickness of patches and leather to fit easier

I love this sewing machine. I do a lot of sewing of small pieces (cloth dolls & ornaments) & am easily dissatisfied with new sewing machines due to light weight, needle placement & tension & constant need to refer to manuals. This machine is heavier, stable, dials & functions (tension, needle placement & stitch length) are clearly marked & it has built in stitch options (zigzag, buttonhI love this sewing machine. This machine is heavier, stable, dials for tension, needle placement & stitch length are clearly marked & it has more than enough built in stitch options (zigzag, buttonhole & many more) . It is quiet, doesn't move on table top when sewing & . It is quiet, no vibration, doesn't move around table top when I'm sewing, & bobbin is easy to reach/change thread. I love this machine! Price is good, too!

Easy to use once the thread was installed properly. Instructions were just a tad unclear using the auto thread. Got it to thread accidentally; so I need to figure it out again the next time I have to change threads. Sure wish there was a video for that. Otherwise, the machine is great! As a first test, I sewed up a pair of jeans and stitched it on that thick seam. It sewed it with no issues at all. So far, I am very happy with this machine.

Sewing machines have changed a lot since I last purchased one. I really prefer a flat bed (installs in a cabinet) machine but apparently Singer just can't make them where you have a choice.

Machine has some funky features. First the bobbin casing is awkward to get into. Second the loading a bobbin thingy on top thread slips off easily. But most issue for me is the short cord for foot pedal. They could definitely added a few more inches. It's annoying. and I'm short legged.
