I have never gotten this machine to work correctly. It jams no matter what I'm doing. I can't do more than a few inches before the needle jams in the bobbin case, resulting in many broken needles and not even one completed project on it. I've had more success with a CHILD"S Janome than this awful piece of equipment. I've done everything I can think of except take it to a repair shop that will charge me more than the cost of the machine to look at it. I've attempted to use the warranty. I was told I needed to go through Singer, which meant paying to ship it across the country to one of the VERY few official Singer repair centers. So, the warranty is worthless and Singer won't help me. The manual is worth little more than this joke of a machine. I attempt to use it to correct the error and the advice is, effectively, "remove whatever is causing the error." Wow. Incredible. What effective and helpful advice.
