This has been a great machine so far. I have completed two quilts I. It and it is running like a dream
I grew up using my mothers singer sewing machine. I tried using other brands as I grew up but have returned to Singer for reliability. Love this machine
I love my new Singer Quantum 9960! It is very quiet and sews beautifully. I have not used it to it's full capability yet but plan to try all the stitches out. My only gripe is that it is too easy to inadvertently change the stitch if you accidently hit one of the buttons on the front while sewing. Ask me how I know.
I LOVE my new sewing machine! I finally found it! Thank you so much! Everything still works
I love my new sewing machine! It's so quiet, also I love the buttons you just press to change stitches quickly on stitches you use often. I'm so glad I chose this model. If you sew garments, this sewing machine is wonderful .The embroidery stitches and lettering are so nice!
I like this machine and have seen on several different Singers and other machines. I especially like the long extension table. It has numerous stitch options and is easy to thread. I recommend this machine.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic I started to make the face mask, and I am planning to do other kinds of stuff as well. I didn't use the sewing machine for more than 15 years, but this machine was very easy to set up to start my new journey, I am very happy to have it.
When the pandemic first started, I borrowed my friends $4000 sewing machine so I could make masks. My old machine was a clunker so it was frustrating to use. Her machine had all the bells and whistles and I loved using it. After I had to return it to her, I started looking around for a similar computerized sewing machine that would cost less. This machine has all the features of her $4000 machine. Thread cutter, needle threader, computerized stitches and controls. From the time I plugged it in it has been a joy to use. No confusing buttons. Very intuitive. Love it!
I have to use the walking foot to make ⅛” edging. If using a regular foot it won't stay on the material. Also when I end stitching and back up a couple of stitches to lock it in, the thread balls up underneath. Otherwise, I love it, especially the thread cutter and slow motion up-down needle action. It creates very neat stitches and with the walking foot it sews beautifully.
I purchased this and after about a month of using it off and on the bottom thread started to messed up, and I cried every troubleshooting option I could find an after about two hours. I finally gave up and boxed it back up and sent it back. I felt like if I was going to already have problems with this team in the beginning, he was going to give me problems going forward.
