It was a brand name sewing needle that came within one day.

I think these are very good machine needles. I have an older Bernina and they were a perfect fit for that machine. Then I tried them on my newer Janome. Again they worked great. The assorted sizes are a plus just in case the material is thicker or fragile. The color coding comes in handy for my 68 year old eyes. They are sharp too!

Each one had a different color indicating the different width. The needles felt really strong. The points are very sharp they felt like they could go through very thick or very strong materials. I used two needles. The first one bent and the second one broke. I was sewing the waistband on a pair of jeans. It was very thin denim material and very stretchy. When I did a reverse stitch that's when the needle broke. I used the middle needle thinking it would be strong enough to so this little one inch area. After that needle broke I used the sturdiest one in the package I believe it was 8.0. and it broke I was so surprised. These I would recommend if you are doing possibly something like silk maybe even one layer of a vinyl. It might even sew through fabrics with a wax film.

This Singer 5pk of Microtex sewing needles are a great need and value to any sewist,these are the fine point needles for sewing delicate materials such as silk,chiffon,organza and any coated fabrics these will fit most common machines, I have a Brother SE 1900 machine they fit perfect no issues, I would highly recommend this product.

If you're a quilter or sew a lot you know that s Singer needles are the best. They work with all kinds of machines, don't break easily and stay sharp for a very long time. They are the best that you can get, in my humble opinion.

Good brand. I'm positive these will work great versus the generic brand needles that did not work in my machine.
