SINGER® C430 Computerized Sewing Machine, Factory Serviced

Fabulous machine. The automatic tension is so helpful as well as the auto thread cutter. Nice wide throat space. Even stitches every time. I like the appearance too, the way it curves on the edge which is comfortable ergonomically on my wrist and hands. . The alphanumeric characters are nice but a bit choppy. The other decorative stitches are awesome. My only concern is the bobbin, they recommend class 15 which I purchased however the ones that come with the machine look like 15J bobbins. I plan to call singer to double check. Otherwise I am so happy with it. Love the way it sews and all the extra features. It's so pretty too.

After searching the internet for a machine . I decided on the SInger rC430. The prices ranged from a high of almost $400 to the low price at Walmart of $269.95. This machine is a real bargain at $269.95! It has many features found in much more expensive machines such as tie off beginning and end, a thread cutter which ties off both threads on the underside of the fabric and cuts them, audible and visual cues to perform necessary functions, sews through heavy fabrics with ease, lots of built in stitches and several fonts, LED lighting, easily accessible front storage tray, and a sleek modern appearance. It is quiet. Its substantial frame helps the noise factor, I am sure. I am very pleased with this machine! And it arrived 24 hours before it was scheduled for delivery! it is exactly what i was looking for , always happy to order things from Walmart , never been disappointed . Delivery was even earlier.

I love this Machine, and the price was so much less than a comparable one I had looked at previously. Just have fun with the stitches and up your design iq with everything this machine can do. Enjoy

It's a great machine

I love this sewing machine. As an experienced seamstress, I searched for quite a while looking at a variety of machines. I am so glad that I chose this one. I would not recomend it for a novice, but if you have used a computerized machine you should be fine with a little practice. The instructions need to be downloaded, which is a bummer, but I have found so far I haven't needed them as I learned the machine and what it can do just by playing with it. It is very quiet to operate; does a great job with button holes. It is also very easy to add decorative designs to your sewing pieces.

I love this machine! The quiet motor, the smoothness of stitching, the auto-thread cutting option, and the many stitches available, makes this a winner for me. I only give it four stars, because of the lack of operation manual does NOT come with the machine, you must download it and print it yourself for ease of future reference. And, a dust cover is hard to find, because of the length of the machine. Must make your own.

I love this machine and after I broke mine I was looking for another. This ad said it was refurbished I don't remember if it said "Factory". Still why sell something that will only produce 10 stitches at a time before indicating a non existent thread break before continuing, I am returning this for that reason.

I am disappointed between what the literature says it will do and what it actually does

I bought this machine factory serviced..... The metal rod attached to the sewing foot... Was completely bent... Therefore not able to sew.... This was not damaged in shipping... It was shipped into thick boxes... And 10-in styrofoam all the way around the machine..... This machine was sold broken... It never even was sent to a factory service repair center.. was just repackaged... And sent on to the next the next customer.. Not happy
