I didn't realize these were hand needles when I ordered them anyways the size and sturdiness made quick for me to patch up a rip in my blouse, I didn't get a needle with curve maybe wrong version of it over all loves the ease of use and don't break so easily like others !

I am 66 years old and I have been using Singer for as long as I can remember. The SINGER Crewel Hand Needles Set is a good quality with a good sharp point. They have a large eye making them easier to thread.

These are a size 2 needle. I like the size, they are not so small that I can't thread them without a lot of effort. The package keeps the needles secure, and it is easy to put them back in the package, so they will be in one place. They are not short needles, medium regular length. That makes is easier to work with. Twelve crewel needles in a package, which will last me as long as the needles are good. It is a good feeling to have the right needles on hand, when I do need them and have something that needs to be done I know that it won't be as much as a chore. They sew easy enough, sharp points. The main reason I use needles is for mending and these will replace those, these nickel plated steel ones for the other needles that don't work well for me.

The large eyes on these needles make it easier to thread. The needles are very sharp and slide through the material- did not snag and did not have to push the needle through the material. The needles themselves are very sturdy which is a big plus with my older hands. And I trust the Singer name.

I wanted this size needle because it has a larger eye than others I have tried. The tip is very sharp and goes through the fabric easily, but I had hoped the eye would be a bit larger. When you are older it is harder to see the hole to put the thread into! But, all in all, these needles are good and work well.

These needles are good however the needle eyes are tiny on all of them. It seems some would have a bit larger eye for threading

The Singer crewel needles were slightly disappointing because, although they were good quality expected of Singer, I expected the eye of a crewel needle to be large enough to thread a full, 6 strand embroidery thread through. I would recommend Singer to include a variety of eye sizes in this package of twelve.

These are just OK, they are made with inferior steel, compared to needles made in Germany or USA, so these are doing to break more often, keep that in mind. The price for 12 is fair and descent. I wish the eye let was just a bit larger for making threading the needles easier, or even if they had made them self threading. They OK if needed in a pinch.

Never got this
