Bought this machine because I wanted to start a quilt, finished my first one and now onto a more complicated one and the machine is handling it well! Only used it for straight stitching so far, but highly recommend. Nice blue color, I wanted that over the gray to look a little brighter in my room.
I bought this exact machine because I have the same one and this is for my daughter. It replaced an older Singer I had, which replaced a previous Singer I had. I am a loyalist!
I bought this bad boy a couple months ago. Here is my review. I love it. It is beautiful and works like butter and comes with everything that you need. I honestly have no bad reviews for this machine. It's an upgrade for my old one and it has so many settings and all the tools. 10/10⭐️
Absolutely love my new Singer sewer! It is adorable and timeless, something I can pass down to a niece or future daughter some day. Perfect for the small projects like makeup bags and coin purses, up to large items like quilts and clothing. What a dream machine! I could not be happier. Very precise sewing, no fighting with fabric to keep it aligned and straight while sewing (I did not realize this was even an issue with my old machine until I used my Singer Meltwater for the first time!). Will always go to Singer products from now on. Love it and would recommend to all family, friends, and loved ones. This was a gift from my Fiance - the most meaningful gift from the heart. This machine is the perfect gift or heirloom.
I have only utilize it to sew a dress and seems pretty good. love the color I would lie if I say that was not my main motivation to buy this product.
The sewing machine is nice, it's looks beautiful but it's given me a headache more than once. You have to be very particular with it or else it starts jamming and just refuses to sew. I have to change the tension and stitch length and clean it out more often than I had to do with my old machine. It more more often than not eats my fabric but I find a way around it. It is very powerful and has sewn thru many layers of fabric but for smaller delicate pieces it's not very good.
Brand new machine and bobbin wouldn't wind. Had it repaired.
I bought this sewing machine in December. It is very cheaply made with many of the parts plastic. I had a Singer sewing machine before that lasted over 40 years. I'll be surprised if this one lasts a year.
This sewing machine is, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing purchases I've ever made. Its cute exterior is the only thing it has going for it — and that charm disappears the moment you try to sew. As an experienced sewer, I expected a basic Singer model to be at least functional. Instead, it's been nothing but trouble. The bobbin winds inconsistently, the thread tension refuses to cooperate no matter how carefully you adjust it, and the bobbin will tangle if you so much as look at it the wrong way. Every stitch feels like a gamble, and I've had to rescue more than one project from the machine's fabric‑chewing tendencies. If you want a reliable, user‑friendly sewing machine, this is not it. But if you're seeking frustration, constant troubleshooting, and the thrill of wondering whether your fabric will survive the next pass, this model delivers that experience flawlessly.
I bought this machine 2 wks ago. It has issues with tension. Others wrote complaining of this problem. I thought maybe they didn't know how to use the machine. Mine came set on 4 from the factory. This is a normal setting. No matter what fabric I used I had to test and retest a piece of fabric each time. One knit fabric I went from 1-5 for tension and had no good results. This is crazy and maddening. I won't recommend this machine unless someone can help me out
