I'm loving my new Singer Heavy Duty 6360 with extension table. I've made four pairs of jeans already!

So far I like the Singer Heavy Duty 6360. I am having a little trouble with the tension. I was disappointed that the owners manual did not come with the machine other than a downloadable version. I was able to buy a printed and bound version of the owners manual from Sewing Parts.

Bought for my wife. She loves it. Her 20 plus sowing machine finally died. This one offered her everything she wanted. Debated between this one and the one with the computer screen. Maybe age but, she felt more comfortable with this unit. She was able to go right to work and will get all her Christmas project done and out before Christmas. Yes, the gift the keeps giving.

I really like my 6360HD. I have used it to make some clothing and alter others. It's a very easy to use machine. If it has any flaw at all it would be that it is finicky on thread changes.

I've upgraded from my Singer Start. While the machine as a whole is sturdy, the lack of design forethought is astounding. The bobbin casing design seems a step backward from the Start. I find it more fiddly and less "heavy duty." Also the presser foot holder...why can't it stay up on its own when I'm trying to push heavy fabrics under the foot. How many hands do I have?

Stitches are not difficult to setup top stitches keep loose and I tried tightening but it didn't work.so return swing machine I have yet to get refunded. Sorry to say I won't be buying singer swing machine!!

I really don't know how the machine might work since I wasn't able to use it. The foot pedal didn't work and there wasn't an instruction book. I called Walmart.com and they contacted the third party company that apparently sold it to Walmart and they sent me an email asking what the problem was and I wrote back what the problem was and their answer was that they didn't pack the box, they just purchased it . So, therefore, I am returning it.

I have had multiple problems with my new machine since I started using it. Currently my feeddogs aren't advancing the material which is also causing several threads to become stuck in the bobbin area of the machine.

Would not sew a single balanced stitch no matter how many times I re-threaded or adjusted tension. Made a distinct crunching/cracking sound and went out of timing and would no longer pick up bobbin thread. All of this right out of the box, brand new.

I bought this for my wife a short time ago,the first time she used it she lowered the feed dogs and when she went to raise it they wouldn't raise, luckily I found a youtube video of how to get the feed dogs to raise,I had to gain access to the bottom feed dog mechanism and manually push the feed dogs to the up position. I was very close to sending this brand new machine back. Apparently this is a common design flaw with these newer machines and in my opinion there is no excuse for this bad design. Time will tell if this will be a problem in the future or if we run into other problems.I wouldn't recommend this machine to anyone at this point. Singer needs to find a good fix for this.
