Singer MX231 Sewing Machine - White

I didn't think anything could hold up to my Kenmore that I used for 40 years until it finally died but I was wrong. This machine is great.

The best sewing machine. Easy to use with a very good price. Love it!

My MX 231 Singer machine is great however I do need training does Singer have any DVDs or lessons on YouTube or locations in Suffolk County NY where I can train to continue my work in my sewing thank you Carol and Michelle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have minimal sewing knowledge from some high school sewing classes and working at a tailor shop (I was just the cashier) and I think this is a pretty beginner friendly machine. The set up was easy and straightforward. I'm doing a revamp of my closet and this is super helpful to tailor my clothes instead of getting rid of everything!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this just arrived today and I've already set it up. the instructions are easy to understand and it's a pretty straightforward sewing machine. It's great for beginners as well as hemming and embroidering. I am blown away with the quality!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for an easy to use sewing machine to alter and create garments, and this has answered my prayers! Though a little difficult to use in the start by threading it and whatnot, the learning curve is not steep at all and will have you sewing like a pro in no time. I only stitched a little bit so far just embellishing some jeans (it's my first time), but I can see myself using this frequently in the future with bigger and better projects!

Product arrived in great condition and so far works great.

The machine does not include the needed bobbins and needles and a carrying case. I ordered a case which has arrived, and bobbins and needles which have NOT arrived. I cannot give a decent review of the sewing machine because I have not been able to use it without a bobbin. I am disappointed with Singer and rather frustrated that it is taking so long to get the necessary basics I need. The website lists bobbins and needles as accessories when they are really necessary basics.
