I bought I for my wife for Mother's Day and she put up the pink one and only uses this one so she loves it

I always purchased this brand, and this is my third one after 10 years. I decided to purchase a simple straight forward sewing machine, and it is. It's good for simple sewing, I like the preset stiches options and the best part, it is amazingly silent. I think my printer makes more noise lol. I just purchased it this June and I have until September to claim a return, but if it's working as it is I won't return it!

I love this little machine! I decided to down size to a simpler, light weight machine and I made the best choice! I started making curtains the day I got it and am so very delighted with it's performance. It's quiet, sews evenly when going from a single layer of fabric to multipe layers. I highly recommend this machine for beginers to experienced sewers.

I purchased this machine as a beginner and I really like it. I made a pair of pajama pants with a fun print. The sewing machine cover that came with it is a bit of joke, though. I don’t see why they even mentioned it, it’s like tissue paper.

I got rid of an older sewing machine in a garage sale and regretted it a year later. I order this one because it was the closest to the one I had and this thing has been great. It's not the best for really thick material but that's to be expected. I've fixed plenty of clothes, made masks, and sewn curtains with no issues. Love this and I will not be letting it go.

I recently purchased the Singer M1500 Sewing Machine. I looked at all the videos and thought I had followed them closely. A woman is vocally walking you through the steps. She expains everything except which side the thread should be on when you place the bobbin in the machine. The machine kept jamming, so I slowly watched all the videos again and it showed her moving the thread to the right side before she put the bobbin back in the machine. After I did that everything worked fine. I haven't had a lot of time to do a lot of projects, so I can't critique it a lot. But so far it seems like a good machine for the money. That video should be updated so other people won't have the same problem.

This machine is a variation of the Singer Simple/Fashion Mate. They both are my go too machine for back up purposes. My simple kept having bobbin issues so I purchased a Fashion mate. Same exact issue. I returned it and I saw this machine and decided to try it. I went to load the bobbin and found a bobbin case instead of the typical plastic drop in bobbin. I was so excited. Drop in bobbins in Singers often have issues. This machine has all the benefits of a Fashion Mate but with a better bobbin assembly. Happy with the price as well. I caught it on sale.

Ordered for my 83 year old mom who does not use the Internet. There was no set up booklet included. It was only online. When opened, the machine appeared to have already been used. There was a bobbin stuck in it and we were unable to remove it. It was not a very sturdy/strong machine either.
