Singer® S0230 Mechanical Serger

What I like about it how wonderful it is to use very fast, very efficient? What I don't like about it. It does not come with the instruction book.You have to go online and get one

It works amazingly and I love the color. Also it met my expectations from the price to it works. I also love how fast it got delivered to my doorstep.

I'm learning how to use this and I love it . It does everything I wanted it for and more. . Was kinda intimidating at first but, I'll take some free lessons.

I have been really enjoying my new Singer serger. Sergers are new to me but I have found it easy to set up and use. I'm working on my first project and so far so good! Seems reliable and user friendly!

I am happy with the serger and like especially that I can use 2, 3, or 4 threads to close my seams. JUST DON'T USE AFFIRM TO FINANCE YOUR PURCHASE! THEY ONLY OFFER TWO FORMS OF PAYMENT. THEY DO NOT OFFER BILL PAY AT WALMART STORE LOCATIONS FOR ONLINE PURCHASES LIKE MANY OF THE TOP FINANCE COMPANIES USE AS AN ALTERNATIVE OPTION OF PAYMENT IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG!

I've never used a serger before, and was very intimidated. After carefully reviewing the online manual and a quick practice project (I made a pocket square for my husband) I feel like a pro. Can't wait to use this machine on my next project and save SO MUCH TIME on those finished edges!

Not just this machine is what I needed. But Walmart shipping was the best. I bought this online a Sunday night and literally it was at home before afternoon next day. Amazing service.

I took this serger out of the box and it was broken—the belt drive was loose so when I pressed on the pedal I could hear the machine whirring but the needles weren't moving. I was able to fix this myself but IT WAS NOT EASY! I had to carefully unscrew half the panels and painstakingly disassemble the interlocked pieces of rounded plastic. Putting a belt drive back on is a very simple and easy task but the construction of the plastic shell made this so difficult and annoying. Unfortunately these newer models do not have easily removable panels that give you access to the inside of the machine that allows for you to do regular cleaning or in this case, fixing parts of the machinery. They're designed to try and look “slicker” and modern but really are just black boxed like an Apple product. The machine itself works fine for a basic model but I'm worried about the longevity of this product when they've made it so difficult to do any regular maintenance on it without having to send it somewhere to get fixed.

It doesn't work. The needle won't move up and down. I didn't get a response when I reached out to singer. disappointed. I thought I threaded it wrong or something but when a professional seamstress came to help me she couldn't get it to work either. She said it was the machine itself. Still waiting on singer to reach back.
