I have had the SINGER® Tradition 2277 Sewing Machine for a few years, and I have been experiencing ongoing problems with it.
The machine works inconsistently. Sometimes it runs normally, but other times the thread gets stuck, and the bobbin thread repeatedly becomes tangled and nests underneath the fabric. The machine has also become very loud while running.
On one occasion, the thread became caught inside the machine. I tried to find someone who could repair it, but I was unable to find a repair person who could help.
Now, I cannot even use the machine because it only sews in reverse. No matter what I do, the machine will not sew forward. This is extremely frustrating because I rely on this machine for my sewing projects.
Because of all these issues, my projects take much longer to complete—sometimes twice as long. The repeated thread problems, bobbin nesting, loud noise, and now the machine only sewing in reverse have made it very difficult and frustrating to use.
I would appreciate your help in determining what can be done to repair or resolve these issues. At this point, I really need assistance because I am unable to use the machine at all.
