Nice, powerful little winder, and includes a second, taller spool holder, clipped to the inside lid beneath the outside handle to carry the case.
Wish it had a spool for serger spools also, as I usually buy Serger spools for sewing instead of regular spools, for my regular sewing machine. This way I dont have to change the spools very often. Took one star away because of this particular inconvenience, but hoping I can make minor adjustments to get it to work anyways.
I threaded one bobbin thus far, using my Coats %26 Clark 100 percent cotton thread. The machine spins pretty fast. I dont think when winding bobbins it should go that fast, but I dont see any way to slow it down, either. Most of the thread seemed to bunch up at the top for the first half, then it slowed down to an almost halt, then started to fill in where it had missed before, and once filled in, it speeded up again to fill the other half. When it was done, the spool looked very well threaded, but have yet to test it on my sewing machine.
I think the machine speed should be reduced by as much as 50 percent, and the bobbin should wind at a nice steady pace all the way until it is filled, rather than speed along at the fast pace. Took a second star off because of this speed issue.
Once I test the bobbin with my machine, and see if I can adjust to thread bobbins from my serger spools, I will review again.
