I love this! However I have not yet to do the hot/cold...so I cannot speak to that. But what I do know is that this mask helps just by itself without either. It's like having a weighted blanket on for your body but for the eyes. aaahh! When it's on, you cannot see even a sparkle of light..pitch black. So to all interested I highly recommend. Its a 3-n-1...hot, cold, room temp, blackout affect. Enjoy!

Heats well and evenly. The only downside is that it is a little heavy on my eyes, but the moist heat is exactly as advertised.

This is the best sleep mask I have ever used! I know it is not really designed to be a sleep mask, but if you take out the gel pack, it works for that purpose better than any other mask I have used. You will not wake up sweaty and it had the unexpected benefit of erasing the fine creases between my brows. I know that sounds bogus, but it is true. If you put the gel pack back in, either warmed or frozen, it also works quite well for its intended purpose, although I have only used it frozen. I left my mask at my sister's house, so I am ordering a 2nd one without regrets. My other Brookstone mask is not nearly as nice.

Soft, comfortable, helps with sinus headaches

I like this item because to heat and cool takes very little time. It is soothing and very flexible. I don't feel it helps with my dry eyes but I still like applying heat and cold when I need it.

Easy to use. Heats up fast in the micro wave. Helps relieve dry eye and bags under my eyes.

The mask heats up nicely and is very comfortable. It needs more Velcro for my size head. I have a very small head and they are very skimpy on the Velcro and I have trouble getting it to stay on.

It says it can be used cold or warm but it doesn't get very cold, even after days in the freezer.
