Sirio Performer 5000 PL Mobile Antenna & Sirio Mag 145 Mag Mount

good antenna matches easy for swr and is broadbanded

have used K40 and wilson 1000 antennas and this one out performs them both. better magnet mount and low swr right out of the package. didnt have to do anything but assemble and check with meter and talk. easy to fold down or remove . have the SIRIO new tornado base antenna also and it out performed my 2000 Solarcon IMAX.

This is a great performing antenna but all said and done the Stryker SR-A10 outperformed it by signal and price. I was able to tune this antenna to 1.1 on ch-19 and 1.2 on both ch-1 and 40. The Stryker antenna tuned to 1.0 on ch-19 and 1.1 on both ch-1 and 40 right out of the box. The Sirio 5000 I had to change out the mag mount coax to 18 feet of RG58a/u vs. the 13 feet of RG58 that it came with in order to drop the swr's. The antenna is appealing to the eye's and the angle can be adjusted fast which is a real plus, wish the Styker had this design incorporated into it but in the end it all comes down to what antenna has the best signal and I'm sorry to say Sirio wasn't it...

What a disappointment!! Could not get it to tune to save my life. I tried & tried and gave-up after over an hour with my very nice and reliable Diamond SX200 meter... real exercise in futility. I am not new, been doing CB radio for 40 some-odd yrs. Will go back to my Wilson and either attempt to return to Walmart or sell on Craigslist.
