The instructions are good. Easy to install. I was replacing very older smoke detectors so I was trying to use the screws that were already in the ceiling. Some went in easier than others. Look really nice. Have a very dim green light that lets you know that they have power.
I liked everything about this hardwired smoke detector. The packaging was excellent, the instructions were easy to understand as I am a 79-year-old man and it was easy for me to remove the old units and install seven new units in 4 hours. I definitely recommend these units.
We purchased these to replace our old USI hardwired smoke detectors. We did have to change the wiring clips to make them interchangeable however, once we did that all 5 work great! felt safer immediately. (the old ones were 12 years old which is way too long to wait to change them out) we also replace the batteries that came with them with brand name batteries that show an expiration date. Great value pack, great product. Will buy again when its time.

I was really impressed with these units as they were better than anything else that I researched.
Hard wired with a battery backup. Battery life is listed at one year which is great for a smoke detector mounted on a high ceiling. I like the "do not disturb' feature and the large button...easy to push with a broomstick or pole when the smoke detector starts to chirp in the middle of the night (low battery signal).

They look better than my old smoke detectors and are relatively easy to install and a quick test indicated all are working as expected.
