While the animals are not scaled to size, the details are good! You can clearly distinguish the different types of animals.. and the added trees/shrubbery and fence is great! I also loved the variety of animals..

Bought this for my daughter's kindergarten class when it was time to learn about farm animals. They were real looking in terms of looking like what real miniature farm animals would look like. They're way past this section of curriculum but my daughter says it's still the kid's favorite thing to play with.

variety of animals, but most not "farm" animals. They worked for my kids' diorama. a little expensive for the quality, but there was a large quantity to choose from.

I needed a big set of plastic animals to make dioramas with my co-op group. This is marketed as a “53 piece” set of plastic farm animals but 16 of those were green fencing pieces and not animals. Just make sure you read the description.
