Sizzix Cutting Score Trimmer Papercraft Tool for Precise Paper Cutting

I accidentally purchased this item because I thought this was a guillotine type trimmer based on what I could see in the advertisement. Although it is not a guillotine cutter, it is an excellent paper trimmer. When I opened it, I was just gonna send it back and then I used it and I'm in love with it. Very good quality

This Sizzix cutting and scoring board has so many great features! i was particularly excited about the ease in making envelopes! you can cut, score, cut %26 score on a diagonal; it has 3 punches on top - one for envelope corners, an edge rounder and a hole punch - which you can use while they're snapped in place (great so you don't lose them!) or remove to use. the ruler is also removable, and also slides to the right for scoring and to the top for cutting. It also has both inches and millimeters - both the ruler and the board top themselves can be flipped depending on which type of measurement you want; especially helpful if you do some paperwork with European crafters. It comes with an easy to use envelope guide as well - AND this was the LOWEST price I've seen anywhere! Other craft companies are selling this for $60, yet I paid just over $42 here! Great value for a Sizzix product!

This is a limited use item, designed for making cards and boxes that have limited scoring needs. I bought this to score art paper pages for handmade sketch books which require a score 1 inch in from the top paper edge.There is no movable edge stop/guide for paper in this direction. I had to jerry-rig a straight edge using tape so I could have a stop/guide for the paper that was closer to the scoring indentations. Quality is light duty at best.
