SJK Big Cot with Steel Frame

This is a huge sturdy cot!

Amazingly sturdy yet comfortable cot. Should have bought these years ago. Tried cheaper brands and they were a waste of money. These are LARGE cots that hold big guys like me and my son with no troubles. Only problem is that we need a bigger tent now. Lol. Great construction. Nice fold up design. They are pretty heavy, but that's because they're made with high quality steel framing and are made to last. 1000% improvement over what we had previously. Well worth the money for a good night's sleep!

This cot is everything it is represented to be. Solid and it does not squeak. I wore my other Slumberjack cot out and eventually the support system failed due to poor design but this cot is much improved & has a superior frame which is reinforced. I began sleeping out all year round in 2008 so I use my cot almost every night. I expect that this cot will last years and years. Great product.

Perfect for what I needed. I used it as a guest bed in my tiny apartment then folded it away and stored it in the closet for next time. I used an extra wide yoga mat for added comfort, and a set of California twin size sheets. This bed is not flimsy. It could be used long term. I do wish it was a few inches shorter. My feet don't reach the floor when I set on the edge.

Cumbersome to put up, heavy, takes up a lot of room due to the size. But it sleeps very well! The 4 stars is due to the listed complaints, otherwise would be 5. My wife is a very picky sleeper and she was very impressed.

So first and foremost, I would like to say the shipping was great. Came within three days even though it said it could take up to 3 weeks. Now the good…. Was comfortable to use, easy set up, good investment for camping trips. The bad….. took it camping, opened it and first thing I see is a rip on the canvas along the framing, it's about an inch long, disappointing to say the least. Especially when you see it and you're already out in the mountains setting up camp. Other wise good product.

I needed an extra cot for when we spend time at relatives and are in need of extra sleeping facilities. This cot fits the bill nicely. It has had no problem handling my 275 pound frame and is wide enough and long enough for anyone but major league basketball player. It is bulky and heavy and really needs two to set up but once up it is not going anywhere.

Very nice cot, very sturdy except for the two end bars that stretch out the fabric and add strength to this cot. The way these bars attach is not ideal. They slip over a pair of lugs at each end , therefor, you can NOT lift this cot from the end bars or they will disattach. I don't think they are needed but without them, the cot will be shorter and be a bit less sturdy. It comes assembled but needs to be stretched out and have 5he two bars attached and have corner braces adjusted.

Easy set up even without directions. Comfort is improved with use of a mat. Cot is sturdy and gives great support. Packaging is insufficient to prevent damage in shipment. Mine was damaged but Sportsman's Guide made it right when I called them about it.

Paid for 2-day shipping and it took for days to arrive. Drop shipped in original packing with no outer protection. Upon assembly, noted that one end support cap installed incorrectly. Had to use product anyway fir quarantine of a traveling family member. Even though it is supposed to support 500 pounds, the cot developed a big sag when supporting only 190. Very dissatisfied with product. No one responded to my email request to credit the 2day shipping fee I paid for when the product arrived two days late.
