SK Care NEW Berrcom JXB-178 Infrared Non-Contact Digital, Adult & Baby Thermometer

The Berrcom infrared non-contact forehead thermometer is very useful, and cost effective. It takes body temp, surface temp, and room temp. Both in Fahrenheit and Celsius. It stays set on Fahrenheit once set. I have another one of these thermometers from another company which is difficult to set to Farenheit and will not stay in Fahrenheit making it a pain in the neck to use. Anyone looking for this kind of non-contact thermometer should definitely get the Berrcom.

Really impressed with this especially because of the cost. It took a lot of time to try to find a good thermometer and not have to pay 3040 or $50 for the cost of this it was easy to set up I did have to use YouTube channel to calibrate it but after that its beenReally impressed with us especially because of the cost. Very good product - - I purchased one for myself and several others for gifts for family members. it seems to be accurate/consistant on the readings.

I like everything it has to offer. The reading is large and bright and it quick in giving your temp. It's very easy to use. I would highly recommend it. The quality and price is great for me.

I've used this device many times before i purchased this one. it's fine and easy to use but has a long reset time, if you have lots checks at one time

Came in SUPER FAST!!! Easy to use; it does not come with batteries; fast; seems reliable on temps; super cheap price and worth it for squiggly little ones!

I thought this thermometer was great, and the readings seemed to be correct. Until my whole family got COVID and I checked our fevers with this - it showed normal temps (around 98-99) when a traditional oral thermometer showed fevers of 101 (which made sense - we knew we had fevers). I had used this as a screening tool as well - so much for that! It seems to be better for surface and room temps than on foreheads...please don't rely only on this for body temp! (Oh and I did check - the calibration factor is at 0, so it wasn't that).

Something, perhaps the terminals, is loose inside the unit and the display comes on and off even the trigger/on button is not pressed. it is returned after 2nd day. If you are right-hander, it may be hard to see and change the mode (body, room and surface temp.) because the mode button is located on the side of the unit.

I would give it zero if I could. It does not convert to Fahrenheit despite claims that it does. I followed instructions exactly and the responses required to convert simply are not there what an aggravating experience and this is the second order! Do not bother with purchasing this product.

I bought it 3 months ago. I have only used it 2 times and since I used it for the first time it indicated that the battery was low, but it worked well so I didn't give it much importance. Today I used it again but the battery is almost dead and no longer works. I found that the reason the battery drains so quickly is because it turns on by itself and doesn't stop making an annoying noise.
