good support.shoe is well make built to last. comfortable
After buying a pair in blue, dashed out to buy the same in beige, just absolutely fantastic shoes (oddly, the blue come a half size small while the beige were true to size. Had a number of people ask where I bought them, that's not common! Guys rarely ask that,
This is my second pair of the Relaxed Fit: Harper - Forde style of Sketchers. I beat up the last pair and they don't quite have the support in the insole any more so they don't feel as good. I still wear them but I use the new ones when I'm out and about. Great comfy shoes.
The only complaint I have about this shoe has nothing to do with its quality, design, style or comfort. It has to do with size offerings. I have a long foot, size 15 but a narrow foot. You only offer your shoes in medium widths so I thought I would take a chance. I have worn the shoes and I like them but they are too wide for my foot so I have to wear heavy socks take up some room. I guess I'm part of a very small market, because I have the same issue with many shoe manufacturers. Would definitely buy more of your shoes if I could get a more narrow width.
Sketchers have always conformed to my wide feet and our true wide comfort fitting yet durable shows that last a long time. My only negative comment is every time in the past I've gone to re-order that model is been discontinued and I wish I would've had a second pair!
Great pair of shoes that feel comfortable and stay on well. The initial few wearings the upper band is often a little tight. They try to fix this by shipping with inserts to keep the bands stretched a bit, but they're not quite as wide as my foot (typical). That said, after a day or two of wear they adjust and fit well after that. In past pairs I've had to literally snip the elastic band connected to the tongue to get them to be comfortable long term, so they've adjusted this based on feedback.
The shoe is comfortable with a nice wide zone. Narrow feet may feel the shoe is too loose for them. Comfortable for the achilles part of the foot which is important for me. Cushioned sole as well. 4 stars because my feet tend to sweat or heat up in them after a short time even thought the shoe has air cooling technology. Not sure if my socks have something to do with the warming or not. My guess is probably.
Casual, having owned another style of your casual shoe the extra wide ran wider than this pair. I purchased these because of the look, color and liked the pair I have. When they came in extra wide I was happy and ordered them. I was very happy with the look of the shoe but when I tried them on I felt the were a little tight. I figured the would stretch out after a couple wears but so far no. I can only wear them for a few hours and have to remove them. I did notice that my other pair was made in China but this style was not so maybe extra wide is not extra wide. Just my opinion.
I was looking forward to these becoming my go to shoe for casual use, but they don't fit well. I bought them online easy enough. I didn't realize how loose they were until I wore them out of the house. By the time it became apparent that these were too big, I had wore them for a few hours and it was too late to return them. Another con is that I can feel some sort of odd padding/stitching in the insole of the right foot. Dissapointing to be sure.
they look, and are described as having the same insoles and midsole as the Equalizer Double Play, but it is significantly thinner, not comfortable. i bought them for colder weather since they're leather instead of fabric. i walk on concrete all day in a retail store and have had a hard time finding shoes with a comfortable enough sole, these are NOT it. wish they would bring back the Shape-Ups...
