I got these shoes for work in a laboratory. They are waterproof enough to be chemical resistant, and the black doesn't pick up dyes which is nice. They have the slip resistant bottoms that would also work for restaurants, and good cushioning in the bottom which is great for standing for a while. I stand usually half of a workday and I have yet to have issues. Only problem is they are squeaky as hell. I can be heard coming down the hallway from 50 feet away. I feel like spongebob in the squeaky boot episode. Not sure if it's because they wax the floors often at my work or what but even with the minor annoyance I still highly recommend them, unless you're easily embarrassed.

I got these shoes about a month ago, and I've since worn them 5 days a week for my waitressing job. I'm on my feet for 8 hours every day and I have had ZERO foot/leg pain since I've switched to these shoes. I used to come home and immediately soak my feet in the tub - no longer! The nonslip bottom is also extremely helpful in my work environment. The only downside is that they are pretty heavy. Unless you've got strong calves, you might feel a bit uncomfortable until you get used to the weight.

I am so picky about shoes. It makes buying them a chore! It was very easy to find what I was looking for but buying them online was new for me. I am thrilled with these shoes! They are comfortable and great for slick restaurant floors. No sliding around! I will definitely buy more than just work shoes from Sketchers!!

Most shoes will open more when you stretch the ties out, these do not, which makes them harder than most to get on as the tongue will slide up, and the back of the heel roll down, once you get them on, they feel better, however, I think there should be even more padding under the foot, as the sole is stiff, and it goes through the padding and does not feel as comfortable as they could be.

I love skechers, these are only shoes I can work in, this brand's shoes are only shoes that don't hurt my feet on a 8 to 9 hours shift, I tried other shoes but they don't work, skechers always comfortable for my work shoes. I will order again..Thanks

I had these shoes to wear while at work but they are not easy for walking in as there seems to be very little cushioning. I am very disappointed and cannot afford to buy another pair so now I am having to use my old torn shoes. I've used Skechers for years and I'm truly shocked at how uncomfortable they are on my feet.

This is a very good and stylish shoes and even it was small for my size it is still comfortable. However, there was no clarification in the name that is women shoes and I am totally disappointed because I wore it and now I have to throw it out. I hope there was a way to get my money back or get another men one.

I bought these for restaurant work and thought they would be pretty good since they had glowing reviews here. I normally wear size 9.5 and these shoes were so stiff my feet were pushed forward from the heel and crushed up against the toe of the shoe. I would have probably had to buy 10s for them to fit but I even if I did I don't think they would have been comfortable. I brought them to a sketchers store to return and bought a different (much more expensive!) sketchers shoe that is way better.

After reading all the reviews I figured these would be great for my work because I am on my feet all day and doing a lot of walking... yet using them 2 days and my feet hurt so bad to the point I was in tears. I really wish they would let you do refunds that don't require you to not use the product..how else are you going to know if they are comfortable unless you wear them for a good day. Really wish I could send them back but now I'm stuck with shoes I can't wear.

Sketechers usually run half a size small for me so I ordered accordingly. Being a relaxed fit i thought the half size larger would fit perfect. It was very tight around the toe area so I had to return. Would of liked the option to exchange for the next size, but looks like you can only return and reorder, losing the discount. Guess I will have to wait for another sale before I reorder. :(
