The grip of the mat stays in place not only to the floor, but holds my feet and hands in place without the normal slid you would get from my other mat. While it still is in working condition, she's not the beaut she used to be. This is a pretty cool yoga mat! I love the cork and haven't seen it before. The back is the same foamy/rubbery yoga mat as the standard ones. I love that this one comes with a carrier too. Also I really like that the color sort of blends in with the yoga studio floor because it doesn't take away from the calm that surrounds us in class.

What I also like is the backing on the mat provides some grip between the mat and my wood floor. Plus it comes with a handy strap to carry. Bonus is that the design is pretty cool too!

It's very thin, but I don't find that I need any more cushion than it provides. It's fairly lightweight and easy to carry around. This is my first cork mat and I don't think I'll ever switch to anything else! There's no issues with slippage on floors at all. The grip when doing yoga or stretching is top notch. There's really nothing I would change about it!

It smells a little weird but my mat stays laying out most of the time so I'm sure the smell will go away. I'm liking it so far tho!
