SKIL 12-Inch Quick Mount Compound Miter Saw with Laser, 3821-01

Easy to use and has done everything I have asked for. I appreciate the simple indicators for the cuts.

I bought this for my husband and he couldn't be happier with it. Said it works great and he has already knocked out a few projects. Total thumbs up!

All power tools should be able to produce such precise work. We used it in May and June to re-side our cottage in Northern Minnesota. We sawed everything from 1-by, 2-byes, 4x4s, trim, and ***** Hardi-planks siding ( fiber cement)*****. It took them all and the work was perfect every time. I am 90 and it even forgave my mistakes.

I just finished using the saw to build a wedding arch for my daughter's wedding. It worked well and saved lots of time.

This tool met all my expectations. It is a good addition to my home workshop.

I followed the instructions for setting everything up, and they were easy to read and understand. Most things on this saw worked right out of the box, except the fence which wouldn't quite get to square. I found that the factory holes upon which the fence mounts would not allow for squaring, so I used a drill bit to mill them out some. Everything else works fine.

Good saw, it's to replace an old 10" saw and the new bigger saw is great

only fault i see so far is the lazer is useless. not bright enough unless you're in gim lighting

The saw seems very powerful, so powerful that when it starts, it jerks the wood that I am trying to cut, making me have to re-position the wood just to verify the cut. It is VERY noisy!

The laser isn't very accurate and reflects off the sides to make it look like there are three lines. It also smells like burning plastic whenever I run it. The button you push to hold the blade in place in order to remove it doesn't work.
