This birthday gift for my husband, who already has every power tool - in duplicate, turned out to be a great idea for him. Tricky little cool tool!

whoever invented this is a genius. hammers in nails without using a hammer. smaller nails its not super fast but bigger nails is where this will shine. and you'll never get tired because the tool is doing all the work. it has a low profile head also so you could get it into tight spots.

I'm glad I made this purchase. I use this tool to extract stripped screws, to extract wash plates, and agitators out of washing machines. It has paid for itself several times already. The problem I have with it is the battery life isn't that long. It's an amazing tool to have in your tool box.

Honestly, I haven't had a chance to give this tool a good workout yet, other than just some testing. So far I am very happy with it. If there is any downside,(which I knew about before I purchased it) was the magnetic tip which is pretty much useless.

This hammer is great. I love using it for projects when I feel the compressor and nailer is just too much or didn't fit well. I was putting my 8 penny nails down in a second. I am glad Skil went with this design instead of a palm nailer style. It is th reason I got into Skil 12v tools. It replaces my old Nextec Hammered. The thing I like best about it is that I do not hurt my wrist swinging a hammer. It gets into tight places well and has a good battery life.

The multi-angled head is what mostly distinguishes this electric hammer from the competition. It allows access to almost impossibly situated nail heads. The tool is also well-built and nicely designed. These attributes were enough to get me to switch out of my current wireless-tool battery ecosystem and go with skil - something I had been very reluctant to do.

Very handy for setting nails in joist hangers. Pneumatic palm drivers are a little more powerful and faster, but this is perfect for my uses. I volunteer for building handicap ramps and we use a lot of joist hangers. Conventional hammers are a little awkward for driving those small nails and this is perfect, especially if an air compressor is not available.

Does not work no hammer action just noise

Did not perform at all up to expectations. I even watched a few videos before buying it. Drove only 1 of 3 spiraled panel nails into wood without bending. Could only drive a 16d framing nail a little more than half way - tried two of those, same result. Tried different positions on the tool. Battery was fully charged.
