Love this set to do alot of my projects. Does everything that I have to do. Light even fits into small areas.
Great product for small repairs
Love this kit! The batteries last a looong time. Lots of power in the drill, power drill, and saw. The light is very bright. Works every bit as wonderfully as the most expensive brands!
I found this incredible combo package of tools that was a great value. I have used them almost every day to maintain and remodel properties. Everyone who uses them asks where they can get some of their own. What really impressed me and them is the feel, balance and lightweight of these tools which cuts down on fatigue without sacrificing power and durability. The outstanding warranty is a great bonus. Very happy with this lineup of tools!
Excellent value, while not as powerful as some of latest higher volt tools, has plenty of power for homeowner use, like the smaller size and longer lasting battery then old dewalt tools I am replacing
The item was what I was looking for as a replacement but I was able to find something else a little bit better and was less expensive than the original item I purchased
The tools are of decent quality for the price I paid. They do not have all the features of tools made from more expensive brands, but you do not necessarily need all of those features to do basic tasks. The reciprocating saw is excellent for trimming trees and cutting down small trees. The spotlight is excellent with its movable head and its magnet for mounting to metal objects. The impact holds the bits a little loosely, but it will still drive screws with ease. The drill spins at a much lower rate than most other drills I am used to, but it will still drill a 3/8 inch hole in a 2x4, and it will still drive drywall screws just fine. I plan on getting a few more Skil tools to go with my 20v battery system. I love how the batteries come with a fuel gauge so you can tell how much battery life is left.
A solid set of tools of DIY category. So far I have been satisfied with the tool's performance for small household tasks. However it wasnt obvious from SKIL's website that these were brushed tools. SKIL website has big bold text saying "All our powercore 20 tools are brushless" .However I find that the tools that came in this pack are NOT BRUSHLESS. The drill's manual incorrectly categorizes it as brushless. But the brushless version has much higher spec of torque than the ones that come in this pack. For example the impact driver in this pack has 1100lbin torque compared to brushless which has 1800. I was a bit mislead by the SKIL website's declaration that all of the 20V tools are brushless. Apart from the misleading advertisement, the tool quality seems fine so far for small household work. The LED light is also useful when traveling.
Batteries didn't last at all now won't take charge and impossible to get ahold of the warranty department due to lack of online services and my work schedule.
it has no power whatsoever to unscrew a screw tighten anything
