The drill has great torque, plus the bottom bar light is nice and bright , the impact is lightweight and the halo light is a good idea
I've used the impact driver for the last few weeks with my camper putting jack stands up and down. It worked great even when under the stress of trying to level the sides of the camper, and both drills have done basic household projects with no concerns.
I use the drills in commercial applications. They suit their purpose. Of drilling things. The hammer/drill driver made boss visibly sick when he used it. Psst he uses Dewalt. The speed charger is particularly nice to have in commercial environments allowing me to charge batteries faster then I can use them. The only fault I can from user stand point are the buttons controlling the light and power settings on impact. They're easily bumped in a work environment. A simple switch would be vastly superior for its placement.
Battery recharges amazingly fast. Plenty of power, yet lightweight. Love the 'belt clip' that allows me to hang the tools on my pegboard.
it would be a good idea to have a wall hanger for the drills and charger, like the Milwaukee Packout tool station to put my drills away when not in use
Surprised by the power and battery life in these compact drills. The charger seems to be wired to prevent overcharging and preserves battery life. Been sinking tapcon screws into masonry (after pre drilling) with no problem with the impact driver
These tools standup against any of the more expensive tools 🧰 I have they are used everyday!
I used the impact driver for a small project and it worked very well. I have only test ran the driver and out of the box it ran fine. As such, I rate them 4/5. I expect with longer term use to have a 5/5 experience.
Good tool, liked the battery,and charger. The switch has a dead spot in it, but still works. The reversing switch is too closetothe grip, when trying to backout a screw my finger depresses the switch to neutral. For the money and vaule I will replace my cordless tools with skil.
Good tool, buttt.... Direction button outta be a bit stiffer to move. As I inadvertently just barely touch button it stops the trigger from miving. Thus, I must move the tool, push the button back in place, then try again.
