One of my favorite tools I have ever purchased. I have had this for a couple of years now and it's still performing like new. A
Purchased the 3/8 impact to fill in where I am dealing with small torqued fasteners. Cars seat belts, interior parts, engine parts, etc. So far it has worked great. Having the option of power settings is super helpful. I can remove things on high, tighten on low and hit it on high before I check torque with wrench. Very happy with this purchase. Amazed this is a 12v product. The added features are really good too. Jump charge and usb are so convenient.
work excellent for tight spaces very cheap
I work at a Kenworth dealership as a tech. Compared this to my snap on 14.4v 3/8 and actually almost like this one better. Fits in the hands nice and that ring light is so sick!
This driver starts out good but ends up poorly. It is supposed to have 4 speeds. After 2 years the variable speed stops working correctly, It only will go full speed. I work as a volunteer building ramps and stairs for low income housing, 8 hrs per week, for 5 months. I use the driver for t25 and t20 decking screws. After two years the variable speed stops working. I can only use the high speed. If I try to start out slow, the halo light flashes and I have to release the trigger, then press the trigger quickly to get it to work. You can find lots of used drivers on auction sites with the same problems. I like the ergonomics and torque, and the battery is just great. I can drive screws all day on the same battery. I think this driver is for light duty only.
