I like how small & light it is and that it has plenty of power for whatever projects I do at home.

Good price for 2 handy tools for just about any projecrs you have around the house, the tourqe drill is strong enough to remove the lugs nuts on my cars tire

Awesome product, i was doubtful at first due to them being a 12 volt, but i will say i was fairly surprised, this little set packs power i use these on a daily basis for appliance installation and removal and i am more than pleased with the power, speed, and comfortability of these drills, and the compact size is a huge plus when trying to install in tight spaces. All in all i highly recomend this set, the only downfall is it only comes with one battery so invest in a second battery for better life.

Pound for pound and dollar fo dollar you can not beat the value these SKIL PWRCore brushless Drill and Impact drive give you. They work as advertised and SKIL backs the quality of their products for 5 years (3 with a purchase and 2 more once registered). Then there are the cut above the rest design features. Your impact drill has an LED Halo light (360 coverage). You may be thinking so what? If you use your tools you have been in that scenario where the awkward positioning of the driver resulted in less than desired light coverage. Oh sure the job got done, but you had to take the driver down, shine the tiny LED, get your bearings, and go at it again. Yeah with SKIL, never again. Another standard feature is the inclusion of USB ports on the batter and the battery charger. Come on now its 2020 and why should you have to fork out extra dollars to access that stored electricity? Am I right? If you are in the market get them, period.

I am a carpenter and saw that these tools got great reaviews to i "got them for my girlfriend" to use. I used them to deck a trailer and they are awesome 12 volt tools. They fit great in the hand and are more precise with power than my contractor grade tools. I bpught the circular the next week. My girlfriend wont let me take them to work.

Very nice set with lots of power, especially for just 12 volts. This is the first impact driver I've owned, and I don't know why I didn't get one sooner!

Great so far! Built a 8x8' preasure treated platform out of 2×6 stringers & deck boards. Lots of 3.5" large Lag & deck screws along with 12, 8" large Lag bolt screws for storage shed unit. No problems, very impressed! Light weight to. Used them both (drill & impact) with 15 yr old grandson. 4 stars cause, forgot which one (think the drill driver), had a split second delay on start up when pulling trigger on & off but never noticed it under load when using it & screwing the lumber together. 2nd reason not 5 stars, haven't had it long enough to brag about longitivty yet.

The 12V Brushless Drill and Impact guns are quite compact and very convenient to use for all purposes of household DIY jobs. While the Drill is supremely reliable and never misses a beat, I cannot say the same about the Impact driver. Squeezing the trigger suddenly causes the bit to turn backwards slowly about 50% of the times (backwards meaning opposite to the intended setting) and squeezing the trigger slowly/gradually causes the bit the turn backwards slowly 100% of the times. I don't know why only the Impact driver behaves in this way because the Drill always performs flawlessly. After submitting this review, I intend to contact Skil's Warranty department for resolution. At least we have 3 years warranty, which I will need to claim.

Have not put into a work day yet will probably buy 4 ah battery longer use. the 6 point reciever in drill makes it a great feature for driving or drilling. My last cordless was higher voltage it made about 6 years before battery life got shorter with less than ? Average use.

After just a few weeks and NO use of the drill portion of this combo kit, the drill no longer works - the impact driver is fine so I know the battery is not the problem. However, when I attempt to run the drill, it just makes a short click noise and the handle led light blinks - complete waste of money. I expected more out of Skil.
