Handle is a tad too long. Hard to get it to lay flat and hold the switch. Otherwise it works great

I absolutely love this weed eater as I have asthma and this machine is super light and I don't over work myself when using it. It runs long enough that I can get my work done and the battery lasts pleanty of time.

I have always only had a gas trimmer and was very reluctant to purchase this item, but did so. The battery life is very impressive and I was amazed at how much lighter the string trimmer is as opposed to a gas one. Thank you!

Both the trimmer and the blower exceeded my expectations. I used to have a 2 cycle gas trimmer which was always a hassle to keep filled and get it to start. Usually took 8-10 pulls. I’m using this new trimmer on the LOW speed setting and it does a great job. The blower is so handy without a cord. I can snap the battery in, use it on the back patio, then blow off the front sidewalk and the driveway on high speed. It only uses about 30% of the charge.

The equivalent to a gas powered trimmer without the hassle. The charger is insanely fast with a full charge in less than an hour and the trimmer is a powerhouse plowing through thick brush. Switch to low for regular trimming around the house. A purchase I don’t regret and you won’t either.

Easy to set up . Easy to use . Lightweight. Single string - wish it had 2 or 3 more. Works well. Previously had Ryobi plug in that was over 20 years old and very heavy. I rarely used it due to weight and need to pull out 2 50 foot electric cords. I can use this easily after each mowing.

All in all a good trimmer. Powerful enough to eat through tough grass and weeds. Never had to urse the higher speed setting yet. I would like to see this unit have a variable speed trigger and a shoulder strap a it gets heavy after using it for a while. That’s why I gave it a 4. The battery seems adequate for a medium sized yard.

I’ve only used the powercore 40 string trimmer once so fat. It works well and the battery had plenty of power. It takes some practice to get an even cut. I think the balance and handle position are a little off for my height, 6-2”. The line feed can release too much line if you’re not careful. Overall it’s a solid improvement over my old Black and Decker.

Works only on light grass. The string just breaks on weeds and the bump and feed string feature does not work. Returned the unit. Very disappointed.
